~Favorite Life Song's~
Frank Sinatra - That's Life
That's life, that's what people say.
You're riding high in April, Shot down in May. But I know I'm gonna change their tune, When I'm right back on top in June.
That's life, funny as it seems. Some people get their kicks, Steppin' on dreams But I just can't let it get me down,
Cause this big old world keeps spinnin' around.
I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, A poet, a pawn and a king. I've been up and down and over and out But I know one thing: Each time I find myself flat on my face, I pick myself up and get back in the race.
That's life, I can't deny it,
I thought of quitting, But my heart just won't buy it. Cause if I didn't think it was worth a try, I'd have to roll myself up in a big ball and die.

Mike & The Mechanics - The living Years
Every generation Blames the one before And all of their frustrations
Come beating on your door
I know that I'm a prisoner To all my father held so dear I know that I'm a hostage To all his hopes and fears I just wish I could have told him In the living years
Crumpled bits of paper
Filled with imperfect thought Stilted conversations I'm afraid that's all we've got
You say you just don't see it He says it's perfect sense You just can't get agreement In this present tense We all talk a different language
Talking in defence
Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye
So we open up a quarrel Between the present and the past We only sacrifice the future
It's the bitterness that lasts
So don't yield to the fortunes You sometimes see as fate It may have a new perspective On a different day And if you don't give up, And don't give in You may just be OK
Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye
I wasn't there that morning When my father passed away I didn't get to tell him All the things I had to say.
I think I caught his spirit Later that same year I'm sure I heard his echo In my baby's new born tears I just wish I could have told him In the living years
Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear
It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye

Had a grueling PT session last evening - the therapist did some manipulation of the area on my right side where I tore the muscles - obtained some relief for the evening. Woke up this morning in exquisite pain. Drove in to the office without causing harm to myself or to any other person. On heavy painkillers (Tramodol) so I should be able to stick it out the rest of the day.

Good morning LUV and (((HUGS))). There were some real impressive rain totals yesterday. I saw some Houston posters saying they had over 4” and some place SW from there had almost 10”.
The news just had a report that some oil field workers were trapped on a rig in Lee county but have been rescued this morning. That is my old stomping grounds.

When I went over 200 late last year, I decided to do something. I’m back under 180 for the first time since 1992 when I got the supervisor job.

LOL
I use Boiron Arnica Gel
I order mine from Vitamin Shoppe where they come in twin pack.
Hubby and I love the stuff. So does my youngest son. My mother now loves it for her arthritis.
