The only reason he is going to VA is because he lives there now. He said he was going to release his taxes at the last debate after he did them. He prepares his own taxes. He is going to VA to do them.
I agree. Amazingly even RP saw that and pretty much skipped Florida.
I bet the establishment types are calling him non stop pleading with him to stay in Florida.

During a recent debate, he said he would release his taxes as soon as he could do them. Waiting till an extension runs out in October isn’t going to cut it.

I don’t think he intends it as a joke. I believe it’s in reaction to the voters and other candidates demanding the release of tax returns from one another. He said he’d have to go home to get his tax return done so that he could release it.
I believe any ‘deal making’ of any kind would be against regulations. If he drops out it will be on his own.
The "Republicans" should do themselves a favor and ban them from running for President.

Santorum is the Mr Rogers of the GOP (without the pleasant personality or charisma). He has all the appeal of a out-dated sweater vest.
So actually you admit you are not a republican, and so you trash anyone we have running and cause problems amoung freepers.

Rome2000 was referring to Santorum, he has said the most vile things about almost every republican running in this race, except maybe Paul. My guess is he is a democrat posting to trash all the republicans running.
No, Newt and Romney will both quickly dive to the center without Santorum to restrain them. Newt’s already talking about putting a permanent station on the moon. Yeah, that’ll win votes outside NASA. Methinks that Newt has been talking a good game of late, but his desciption of himself as “Realpolitik Wilsonian” and FDR admirer should give anyone pause. Romney is a transparent disaster who would sink enthusiasm to an all-time low.
I hope Santorum stays in the race right through to the convention. Bob
