A Texas man confessed to stabbing his 14-week-old puppy Taz and leaving her to die in a dumpster.
Fortunately for the puppy, a nearby animal lover and neighbour called the police after she saw Larry Dollins Jr., 42, maliciously stabbing Taz.
Now, the dog is recovering from surgery and is at a shelter waiting to be adopted by a loving family. ...
Dollins was arrested Monday after confessing his crime to police. He is being held at the Taylor County Jail on $25,000 bail and faces felony charges of animal cruelty.

Put that idot in a pen with a hungry, ill-tempered pit bull and see how he likes it.
What kind of a skunk ( that gives skunks a bad name I know) would do such a thing to a puppy..bet the little guy piddled somewhere..I rescue cats..or rather they just find me...so I take them in and take care of them until I find the owner and if I can’t find the owner I keep said kitty..I hate people who harm the defenceless.
The cops should have let that police dog eat that bastard. Anyone that would do that to a puppy deserves to be fed to a pack of land sharks.
I personally think the police dog should have been able to get some canine justice for little Taz. Beautiful puppy but his eyes look so sorrowful. I hope a nice person or family can adopt him and bring some joy back into his face.
God works in mysterious ways.
Had I seen Dollins stabbing a puppy I would have shot the SOB. Dollins needs to thank God he is alive.
Here’s hoping Dollins has a very large, lonely, dog-loving cell mate.
Agreed. I tend to loose all veneer of civilization regarding those who abuse animals or children.
Right knee, left ankle, and gut sounds about right.
Thank you for your good work. I always say: it’s a sad world for little ones.
A level III AH.
Dollins of the stupid white trash “Amish.”
Unhinged.
Too cryptic. What is that?
That sweetie is colored like my daughter’s Staffordshire (pit bull) Terrier, right to the white paws-someone will give that pup the loving home it deserves. And send that animal abusing bastard here-I’m sure the resident cougar in these woods would enjoy a nice game of chase-the perp could learn in a harsh way not to mistreat animals and lose a few pounds, too...
My Husky is my dear companion and playmate to my 4 cats, all of whom were lost or abandoned by tourists in RV parks out here.
C’mon people....it’s only a dog...someones personal property...he should be able to do what he wants with it. (/sarcasm)
The true story is the dog. Despite its abuse, it is a loving animal.
Dogs are so good, it hurts to see them get hurt.
It also makes me wonder what God was thinking when Adam was lonely. Instead of Eve, God didn’t think, “Hey Adam - have you met Dog? He’s a wonderful companion. Doesn’t nag or castigate you... he’ll just love you!”
(OK, that last part was a joke.)
