Appointments and promotions are made not based on ability, performance, merit or any other logical reason. They are made on the basis of “diversity”.

Christie’s ability to be blunt and verbally aggressive simply fails to mask that he is a very pink, diversity RINO. The quality of this appointment should be the judicial reasoning of his appointment not the quota points it may generate.

If Christie can get a couple of conservatives (relative conservatives -- this is New Jersey, home of "Volvo Republicanism"!) confirmed by the Democrat NJ Senate because they are Black/gay or Asian conservatives and the 'rats don't have the stones to kill their nominations, well, GREAT!
