You mean “STAY OUR DA BUSHES”

OH NOOOOOOOOO! That's an attack from the left. You can't do that. It is just not forgivable - didn't you listen to what all the talking heads and mittens said? NO ATTACKING FROM THE LEFT in the pubbie primaries got it?LOL

“The bluebloods want their party back.”

Bluebloods are a minority. It's more our party than theirs. We not only want our party back, we want our country back. This is how we handle revolutions in our country, since adoption of the constitution. We vote the sob’s out.

If the party hacks don't stop it, real revolution moves closer to reality.

[Someone is gonna have to explain to us simpletons what a “brokered convention” is.]

It is a way the party hacks and kingmakers can attempt to steal the nomination of a conservative and replace with one of the “elites” of the party who is moderate/liberal. Someone who has already agreed or will just naturally do things the way they want.

Best way to prevent it is to win the primaries decisively, just like Newt did in S. Carolina.

What were the alternatives in 1964? Did you mean there were no alternatives?

“...we’re going to have to try to reinvent the smoke-filled room which has been democratized by all these primaries...”

Eff them.

They’re freaking out.

Reiterate: Eff them.

Sorry, I meant there weren’t any alternatives.

Fat fingers.

First of all, I would not trust anything Andrea Mitchell says on CNN. Secondly how is the establishment going to run an alternative to Mitts if no one ponies up any money to the RNC? I haven't given those bastages a penny in years.

If the RNC wants to re-energize the Tea Party as an adversary, then let them try a bait-and-switch.

What are the party rules? Is the RNC chairman going to unilaterally decide who will be the party candidate? Are Congressional Republican party members going to vote on for ‘brokers’ or are they going to vote on who is going to be candidate? Or do R state representatives get to vote? ... So many questions and no answers ....yet.

Sounds like empty threats and smoke and mirrors from the Establishment.

This would end the Republican Party—literally.

Yes, highly likely.

Who are these so-called party elites or the establishment and how do you get chosen to be one? I would like to sign up.

Reminds me of how the communists have slithered their way into our media and government for the last 60+ years... and it worked in their favor too.. Look where we are now :/

So, yes, anything is possible; Scary thought.
We need to clean up this mess once and for all, and NEVER let it happen again.

We need to give our very own elites their own nickname.

I vote for "ankle-grabbers," as in how Rush says the GOP establishment likes to drop their pants, grab their ankles, and reach across the aisle.

I actually wrote about this today: http://libertarian-neocon.blogspot.com/2012/01/it-is-too-late-for-mitch-daniels-or-any.html

They might try but I just don’t see how they can be successful. Looking at the ballot deadlines it looks like anyone coming on now probably can only get on the ballot in about 14 states. So 72% of voters will not have a say? The base will go nuts if that happens and people will just leave the party out of principle.

Anyway, Daniels is soft on social stuff and national security. Jeb is probably okay but I really really will not support another Bush. We just cant have 3 Bushes in a row as a GOP President. What are we, a banana republic?

We need a fighting, articulate, and committed conservative to overturn the damage done by the Kenyan. Not another Juan McCain from “the elites”.

Andrea Mitchell's probably talking to that that human prick Steve Schmidt.

Schmidt, MeCain's pet rodent, who was leaking crap about Sarah Palin during the 2008 campaign.

It's MeCain & Schmidt in Mutt's corner.

And Sarah & Todd Palin in Newt's.

we're going to have try to come with someone as an alternative to Newt Gingrich who could be Jeb Bush

No more dynasties.

No Bushes, no Kennedys, no Clintons.

No more dynasties.

“One alternative would be to support the nominee.”

RINOs do not do that. That’s why we have Harry Reid leading the Senate and some jerk in Delaware tagging along.

And that’s why I will never ever again support a RINO. I’d rather stick needles in my own eyes.
