NHL teams have visited the White House for years after winning the Stanley Cup, but it's a safe bet that never before has a Senator shown up more beaten and broken than the hockey players.
Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) was part of the ceremony honoring the Boston Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup win, appearing like he had just come from a knock-down, drag-out ruckus.
Kerry, 68, suffered two black eyes and a broken nose during a "friendly game of hockey" with family and buddies over the Christmas break, according to TheHill.com. If that's the result of a friendly game, we don't want to be a part of an unfriendly one.

Those are worse injuries than he suffered in Vietnam!
I think the Missus got upset and threw a lamp...does anyone believe this story??
Is it just me or do the “injuries” look a little too symetrical? The two identical red lines near his eyes look like they were done with a scalpel.....Little Nip/Tuck going on Senator?
If the injury was indeed hockey (I am suspicious) then it shows incredibly poor judgment. A 68 year old man does not belong in an ice hockey game - duh!!!
Oh the poor baby. If he still has his teeth it wasn’t a good hockey game...truth, he is a liberal that got mugged...
Maybe it was a game of tonsil hockey and the missus found out!

We are supposed to believe these injuries are a month old? I don’t believe it.
Just because hussein won the last election, they think all people in this country are stupid. Lurch’s bruises are a result of plastic surgery to remove the old bags under his eyes. If the gigolo could find a young, rich widow he’d get rid of his other old bag too.

You can’t get two black eyes with one punch or a single hit with a stick. This had to be two separate blows. If he took one accidental blow, the action would have stopped. So this story doesn’t ring true.

Have some compassion. It was horrible. There he was, sitting in the stands, telling everyone sitting nearby how he served in Viet Nam, when suddenly, this puck came flying over the top of the glass......
