OK, can not find debate on any NBC channell on dish network, any body know where to find it???
The Romney plan was to skip the florida debate and thus silence newt and santorum and “run the board” to his coronation.
You’ll have to watch it onlline if you’re not in Colorado, it isn’t on KOAA OR MSNBC, which is dumb with the Colorado Caucus just two weeks away.
It starts at 9 pm
There’s a streaming link upthread.
Live at tampa debate ... Heavy security ... News media only ... Public basically shut out ... Paulbot target rich environment for debates ... Fire at will ...
I mean..if you ARE in Colorado...this might be a Florida-only broadcast.
80% of tonights audience is not tuning to watch the debate. They are tuning to hear what Newt.
I do like the “open bar” suggestion!
I saw that but streaming sometimes is the pits. You would think Dish would have an NBC channel that would have it. I wonder why NBC network isn’t covering it, are they scared of Newt or what!!!
..will say
Christie telegraphed Romney’s attack. Newt dodge lobyist via being a consultant. he called it the “oldest dodge in the book.”
Chistie looked like a first class jerk and gave all those of new jersey a stereotype black eye.
Newt has an impressive mind. I heard a similar thing about John Roberts at his confirmation hearings for the Supreme Court. The writer said that when he learned that Roberts had no notes for his opening statement he knew it was going to be a slam dunk.
Is this being televised across the nation or only in FL?
Obama has signed a vacation stimulus bill for $1,000,000,000,002.53
It appears they were worried that the candidates might not commit.
NBC removes Tampa debate from schedule, NBC source: Debate not cancelled Saturday, January 21, 2012

TAMPA —
Confusion among local NBC affiliates started Friday after NBC News officials told affiliates the network would keep standard program listings for Monday night instead of airing the GOP presidential debate from USF in Tampa, an NBC News source said late Friday night.
Earlier Friday, Tampa NBC affiliate WFLA News Channel 8 News Director Don North confirmed the network informed local affiliates the debate planned to air nationally on NBC would be replaced with the regularly scheduled programming.
The NBC official said the network made the decision out of an abundance of caution and the network would update the schedule with more information as it became known.
The debate has been scheduled to air from the University of South Florida from 9 to 11 p.m. Monday night for several months.
In an official statement, NBC News said, “Preparations for the NBC News, National Journal, Tampa Bay Times debate continue. We fully intend to proceed with this long-planned event and we hope and expect all the qualifying candidates will participate.”
The NBC official said none of the four remaining GOP presidential candidates have committed, but also that none of the four have stated they would not participate.
North said Mitt Romney and his campaign have yet to commit to taking part in the debate. Romneys presence in the debate is likely to sway the networks decision on when and if it will air the Tampa debate.
The official emphasized the debate was not cancelled and “was not pulled,” but according to North, the debate will be replaced on the schedule with “Fear Factor” and “Rock Center,” as the schedule now stands.
A tweet from NBC News Director of PR Ericka Masonhall on Friday afternoon echoed the official’s statement, with continued construction progress of NBC’s set for the debate at the university Monday:
“Set build coming along nicely for Monday’s @nbcnews @nationaljournal @tb_times #fldebate in Tampa. #decision2012 http://instagr.am/p/i49qq/"
No chance at all. He will stand there and look at the other candidate as they give their answer to a question with that stupid smile on his face. Looks like an idiot to me or an Al Bore trying to intimidate by moving in closer.
question: why can’t we have Rush moderate a debate? Heck I would even go for a Rush, Levin, and Michael Reagan as moderators.
Now that's a drinking game that even a teetotaler can safely play!
