Yes the link is reputable. Thanks. Here is a little about the author from the link.

White House Dossier, written by veteran White House reporter Keith Koffler, is the only 24/7, totally independent, and fully unauthorized White House blog. It delivers a unique blend of White House news, commentary and analysis – with a frequent dose of humor and satire – to carry forward journalism’s traditional mission of holding the powerful to account. The blog focuses mainly on President Obama, his administration, and his antagonists.

Award winning journalist Keith Koffler has 16 years of experience covering Washington. As a reporter for CongressDaily, National Journal magazine, and Roll Call, Keith wrote primarily from the White House, covering three presidents and learning as few have the intricacies of the West Wing and the behavior and motivations of its occupants. While mainly stationed at the White House, he also extensively covered Congress and Washington’s lobbyists.

Keith has also written for a variety of other publications, including Politico, The Daily Caller, and The London Observer. He currently writes regular opinion columns for Politico.

Keith is a past winner of the $10,000 Force of Language prize for writing from the publishers of The Atlantic magazine

If I get a court subpoena, can I send my lawyer? Is this a special prerogative the POTUS has?

I’ll consider it when a SF judge has legal authority to prosecute them. Try harder.

Trolled by the op. So you are the opposition? You are an Obama insider? Put the crack pipe down or fess up to something as you make no sense.

Obama is the most unprecedented POTUS to date. Clinton thought a court couldn’t touch him either.Obama is not above the law. I just wish there was a subpoena for his arrest regarding Solyndra and insider campaign cash and fast and furious.

How about naming a President who has flown to State court during his term?

Not a lawyer, but husband is. The subpoena to appear was challenged by BHO’s Georgia lawyer, but his motion to quash was very poorly written. So the administrative law judge denied the motion to quash, but wrote the reason was because he cited no legal precedent or applicable law supporting his motion. Hubby says it looks like it was written by a first year law student, and offended the judge.
So! He expects the lawyer to rewrite the motion correctly and resubmit it on Monday. Or they could just show up with the requested documents. Either way, the judge would take some time to rule, so the 1/26 date is likely to be changed.
No reason to be rude about it- not everyone has an in house legal opinion on call.

Well, Presidents can be somewhat busy. Busier than you or I. It’s why you don’t have a Filipino waiting for you with a fresh cup of your favorite coffee every morning, and greeting you with, “Good Morning, Mr. President.”

I’m not sure how badly you want to live in a banana republic, but the Constitution details the circumstances as to how and why a President can be removed from office. Here’s a hint for you: State courts aren’t in play.

Never thought he would. It's ten months to election day and the publicity of any such event would be disasterous......so would any defense testimony.

But look on the bright side, this little brouhaha is gonna cost bucks.

Ah...Rude? This isn’t about his removal. It’s about him being on an upcoming ballot.

This judge has the authority to rule on that. In a Bananna Republic, we’d have the kind of system you advocate - one where the President is apparently not subject to the same laws you or I am.

Try harder.

Obama won’t be removed from office until a majority is reached after elections if his sorry SOB is still chanting yes he can eff up America. Now back to the other thing.Any other POTUS and I would agree. Obama is beyond unprecedented and has acted on numerous occasions as he is above the law.One day his radical Chicago mob won’t be able to save him.Ask Clinton about grand jury testimony.

No here’s the deal Brain Surgeon, the President is not above the law. The court tells him where to go, he doesn’t get to make the rules. Unless you think we live in a Monarchy.

So what am I to believe - he ain't gonna go there.

And as Norm just said I’ll add this... it sounds like if Obama is a no show in all facets. His name does not appear on the ballot.Dig into election laws and see if other states can reciprocate.

Indictments for war crimes and Obama’s name not appearing on the Ga. ballot are apples and oranges. Speaking of war crimes Obama likes to provide aid and comfort to the enemy. His first memo was playing attorney for a terrorist and does Obama even hold a legit law degree, was he really a professor? Obama could also be tried for aiding the muslim brotherhood (the enemy you know AKA terrorists) with tax payer monies. Then there is fast and furious. Nut I will laugh like hell if some simple thing takes him down from his throne like his name not on ballots. We could only pray.

I don’t think he will either. In fact I’d be shocked if he did. My point is just that If a judge tells him to, which the judge legally and within his constitutional authority, did, he can either comply or suffer the consequences. In this case, he won’t be on the ballot and face very real legal issues. Perhaps he can’t be jailed until his time in office expires, but they will not go away.

This also ads grist for the mill for conservatives trying to oust RINOS as they will have a sitting criminal they refuse to impeach.
