Romney the DC outsider praising the liberal DC inside establishment for imposing socialism
With clip and excerpts from: letfreedomringblog.com | 1/22/12

Romney today on Fox News Sunday claimed to be a Washington outsider and would if elected to the presidency bring change to Washington's insider ways. Well, guess his working with Senator Kennedy to impose socialist healthcare on his Massachusetts constituents was just an exception to his Reaganesque conservatism and dedication to liberty:

‘Ideal TEA Party candidate’ Romney praises Ted Kennedy

Newt sat on a couch with Nancy Pelosi. Mitt collaborated with, then praised, Ted Kennedy in putting Romneycare. I’m pretty certain that actions are infinitely more important to TEA Party activists than empty gestures.

Mitt’s praising Ted Kennedy for his behind-the-scenes work on Romneycare is confusing because Mitt’s admitted that Romney doesn’t control health care costs. He said that that wasn’t its goal, saying that getting everyone insured was the goal.

TEA Party activists know that a) Mitt isn’t one of them and b) that Mitt’s priorities aren’t the TEA Party’s priorities. It’s never been TEA Party activists’ goal to collaborate with Ted Kennedy, the biggest of the big spending Massachusetts liberals, on the precursor of Obamacare. That’s what Mitt did.

What’s almost as disgusting is the fact that Mitt’s attempting to be a person he isn’t. It’s just Mitt’s most recent attempted ‘transformation’ to fit his campaign’s needs.

Mitt’s team isn’t stupid. They know that he’s never connected with TEA Party conservatives. That’s why Mitt’s attempting to be something he isn’t. It’s one thing to say foolish things or make mistakes. It’s quite another to attempt to be something that you aren’t.

The biggest requisite to being a TEA Party activist is being conservative. The next biggest requisite is being yourself. If there’s anything that TEA Party activists won’t tolerate, it’s a pretender. We want the real thing, not a charlatan who plays a conservative when it’s necessary.

By the way, I believe Romney and his friend and collaborator Ted Kennedy didn’t just impose this socialist/fascist healthcare program on Massachusetts. I understand that we the people were forced to foot half the bill from the US Treasury.

Furthermore, RomneyCare became the blueprint and impetus for ObamaCare, so comrade Romney has imposed his socialist/fascist government mandated healthcare program on all of us!!

I’m too poor, too white, too old, too ethical, to be anything else but Conservative. And yeah. I gotta be me. No matter how many times I get yelled at. ;-)

"Ain't nothin' like the real thing, baby..."

At least Romney will have a herd of RINOs with whom he can commiserate when he's back out on the streets.

A few minutes ago on Hunckleburry, Willard the liberal said Newt Gingrich was the ultimate Washington insider who had to resign in “disgrace” from his position as speaker. Of course he had that shyt eating smirk on his face when he was saying it. The truth of the matter is Newt Gingrich speaks to the common man in a language they can understand. Normal Americans can’t relate to Mr. Wall Street. He has the personality of a lamp post. Willard the liberal will undoubtedly try every lowlife tactic in the world to try and smear Speaker Gingrich. It hasn’t worked for the last three months and it’s not going to work now. A man who should have switched to the democratic party years ago has no damn business running for the nomination of the Republican Party. Willard is a liberal through and through, not a real republican, and that’s what’s why Newt Gingrich cleaned his clock in the SC primary. Willard the liberal is trying to buy himself the presidency and he’s finding out it’s not that easy. Especially when you are a phoney.

Me too, that’s exactly what I’d have said, if I could have thought of it :-)

Great question!

“I was an independent during Reagan-Bush, I’m not returning to Reagan-Bush!” —Mitt Romney (angrily)

And then he went on to prove it. Abortion, gay marriage, liberal judges, socialist healthcare, busted budgets, ruined Republican label, etc.

How much of an outsider can you be if you have John Sunnunu, George Bush Sr., Bob Dole and John McCain supporting you. That’s the rogues’ gallery of the Republican establishment for God’s sakes.

I understand that we the people were forced to foot half the bill from the US Treasury.

Perhaps I'm wrong. But I thought "we the people" were funding the ENTIRE crappy mess. I'm one terminally ill taxpayer. On my last legs. One foot in the grave. Not sure how much longer I can let them steal my money.

I had a blessed life growing up. Both of my parents were not of a liberal mindset. My dad was the greatest and my mom. My values come from there, not a person in politics. The liberal republicans are allowing our country to be changed right before our eyes. Romney will not be any different than what we have now. This is why South Carolina didn't blink. Thank you for your site, Jim and for all of your hard work.

Why is Mitt running as a Republican?

Better yet, why is the Republican establishment backing him?

full disclosure: I'm not a republican.

Romney was largely unseen and unheard from these last four years.

Where in the heck was He?

Where are his denouncements of this administration?

When did he ever, that's EVVUH, stand with the TEA Party, Sarah or any other Repbulican to show his support or solidarity?

Nevuh!  That's what!

And Now "Lone Wolf the Lame" wants to come in to the race, play rainmaker with his money pit to buy support and He Can Demonstrate his differences with Barack?

I am telling you there ain't no sunlight between Barack and Mitt's past.

In fact, they parallel each other.

Facsist takeover of healthcare and by their dicta only?  Same.

Undermine and outright limit 2nd Ammendment rights?  Same

Abortion rightsSame(don't punish anyone with a baby.  Too inconvenient)

Performance on job creation? Same and weak
