I think a lot of people are repulsed by Newt. (I am not one of them). He's been around a long time. His track record is well known. It's possible Coulter and Newt have history of some sort.
She's certainly convinced Newt is a loser.

Ann seemed to like Newt better a few years ago...

More evidence of hypocrisy from Ann in her column titled “LIBERAL WAR ON TERRORISM HEATS UP: DELAY FINALLY CAPTURED” published on April 5, 2006. She defends Newt against the frivolous ethics charges Nancy Pelosi helped to slap on him:
“at the urging of the Democrats, the Internal Revenue Service spent 3 1/2 years investigating Gingrich’s
college course. After all the hullabaloo, the result was: No crime. The classes “were not biased toward particular politicians or a particular party” — thus distinguishing Gingrich’s class from every other college course in America.”
Is coulter beginning (or continuing) to sound like anybody’s ex-wife? Just shut up...no one listens to you.
She may be convinced Newt is a loser, but that doesn’t explain her going whole hog for Mitt.
Sadly, she has become irrelevant.
I agree. Her brain has deep fried. She is no longer a conservative in my book.

Uh, no. Her next book will also be a best seller. Ann is an entertainer. If you expect her to be some voce of the conservative movement, you are sadly mistaking.
I value Ann’s pick for president about as much as I value any pundits. She is raising the hackles of the left and you have to love it.
I don’t have to love it. Some people are like listening to fingernails on the chalkboard. Somebody gave me one of her books one time and I couldn’t read it. Kept hearing that smartass snarky voice...

My, how the once mighty have fallen. I recall being flamed intensely on a Coulter thread here on FR a year or two ago because I called BS on her. Her supporters were livid that I criticized her. I guess they’ve either moved back over to DU or decided perhaps there was something to what I said after all.
My husband can’t stand Coulter. He refuses to listen to her. Changing taglines..
