My, how the once mighty have fallen. I recall being flamed intensely on a Coulter thread here on FR a year or two ago because I called BS on her. Her supporters were livid that I criticized her. I guess they’ve either moved back over to DU or decided perhaps there was something to what I said after all.
My husband can’t stand Coulter. He refuses to listen to her. Changing taglines..
People are fickle. They’ll be cheering her in the fall when she’s ripping on Obama and supporting Newt or whomever the GOP nominee is.
Many here were ripping on Gingrich when he talked about stopping man made global warming with Nancy Pelosi on the couch, or blasted Paul Ryan for “right wing social engineering” or when he supported Dede Scazzafava. But now since he’s the best anti-Romney candidate left, most here have jumped on his bandwagon.
I’m leaning toward Gingrich myself lately, as I just can’t warm up to Santorum that much, but still Newt by no means is the perfect candidate and we shouldn’t be so quick to damn our conservative pundits because they may say something we don’t like.
You’re right about that. Every Thursday, I’d look forward to her column with coffee. I was shocked when she came out for Romney before even the first vote, as if we were going to just stop the primaries and crown Romney on her rec.
She is now irratioinal as hell. She’s accusing people like us as being like a liberal “mob”.
We’re true believers, Ann. Maybe Mob like, but stable and respectful. I think we all have said things here we regret at time with the emotion of it all.
In the end we’ll coalesce and draw ranks behind the candidate...even if it’s Romney....Yes... even if it’s him..
But it ain’t going to be him, Ann. But can you say the same thing that you’ll support Newt, or will you take your toys home like Glenn Beck.
