Well...that’s starting to change now that WE voted those people out of office....but the trough dwellers are all here and will turn out in mass again in November...just hoping there are more of WE then them!!

I can’t stand what Ann Coulter has become. She lived with a Muslim, got heckled on some campuses, and has definately gone over to the dark side (where she thinks comfort lies).

I think its a lot simpler than that. Ann has always been an attack dog...lots of hyperbole.

If she’s your attack dog, she’s the best.

If she’s attacking you, she’s a b*tch.

That doesn’t mean that I don’t agree or disagree with her on political matters..I just know what she really is and take that into consideration.

She’s wrong on ROmney, but she’s still the same nasty Ann.

Thanks, just really figured out what the Delphi Method was, and when applying it to legislation being passed such as a health care fix; say that yes every one agrees there is a problem, but the conclusion they are supposed to reach is that the Affordable Health Care bill was the right solution, and any other solution was discarded and maligned as being from someone who didn’t want people to get medical attention at all.

Dr Dean Edel said it best (paraphrased) ‘if you want the best health care, it is going to be expensive’, that observation alone would omit affordable as being the best option.

Re unfavorables: I'm guessing you both have read the many statements here on FR where people basically say, "I don't have to like him to vote for him".

Based on the high unfavs and the also high vote percentage, SC voters agree. I suspect, given our current situation, that a whole lot of Americans share that view.

I heard that exchange and like you, it gave me pause.

BUT...lookit, you really can’t have our guys trashing the lawfully elected president too awful much. There’s got to be a mid-ground between McCain praising him God almighty and calling him a nasty b*st*rd.

Newt called him a man who governs against everything America was founded on. That was good enough. I daresay most Americans...yay even the precious Independents, agree on.

Just an observation: A couple of times during past debates, Santorum became animated and passionate, and he received audience support. His problem seems to be the rest of the time he does not seem to fire up potential supporters in the base.

I’m hoping you are right.I’m also hoping that given just how destructive obama has been as a supposed leader that anyone with any brain cells left at all who gets near a voting machine and has the choice between any of our candidates and zero will make the right choice.Everything is at stake.
