My thoughts exactly, rodguy. I’ve decided I’d rather down fighting!
Bill Maher’s girl friend has gone over to the dark side...see you, Ann.
If he times it right, Rick Santroum could become an over night Conservative icon by dropping out and endorsing Newt
Morris is where I took the unfavorables comment from.Morris is a strict poll guy who lives and often dies by them. My guess is he's wrong about Newt and just trying to take the easy appearing road of backing Mitt.
that road however is full of potholes that few appear to have traveled.
If it wasn’t for Sean Hannity frequently breathing life back into her near dead decaying body Ann Coulter would be a memory.
It’ll be a very, very long time before I buy another Ann Coulter book!
I have no further use for her.
The media will try to convince us there is a difference, we should know it is in how they plan a meeting, for example, citizens invited to town hall meetings where some roles are scripted, but there is an adherence to conclusions reached in accord with a plan already decided upon by those who facilitate the meeting.
The process used to facilitate the meeting is called the Delphi Technique. Simple explanation here;

Me too! Never is a long, long, long time!
Hi, everyone!
I can’t read all of this thread due to some sort of glitch. I keep getting redirected to oddball sites.
Just wanted to let you all know I am parting ways for a while. I might check in from time to time but I think it best if I avoid FR until the primaries are over.
My best wishes for a great spring and summer. I am going to England in May for the Queen’s Jubilee, so will wave to you all from the banks of the Thames.
May God bless and save our country.
Good moring, Rod and all
It’s a great morning in the Peoples’ Republic of Seattle - snow is melting and I finally got out of the house yesterday and Newt won SC last night!! We have rain on the way, folks still w/o power, trees down, wind & rain coming, but we’ll work through all that.
Just popping in for a little while. I saw this article and thought you might be interested in it. While I don’t agree that Romneycare, Bain, etc. aren’t potential issues, I think the “Romneyness” he mentions is 1 of the biggest hurdles Mitt needs to overcome (even though some of the pundits mentioned it was because he is Mormon). Christie mentioned to DNC Dave earlier that the Mittster just needed to communicate his ideas and plans better. It the interest of full disclosure, I heard him speak and met him during the 2008 campaign - he seemed more personable and made more sense to me on some issues then than now.
George Will: Mitt Romney’s Problem Is His “Romneyness” (video)

George Will: “Mitt Romney’s going in trump card was electability. If you go back now to his 1994 senate primary, he’s been in 25 races. His record is six wins and 19 losses. Newt Gingrich won it, it seems at least 43 or 46 counties. He carried women and Evangelical conservative South Carolina. He carried evidently all seven Congressional districts.”
“So here’s what we now know, we all thought the big problem for Romney might be his mormonism and it might be the Massachusetts healthcare plan. That’s not it. Mitt Romney’s problem is somehow his ‘Romneyness.’ That is the fact that people just are notconnecting with him. Not just that he’s the first candidate we’ve ever had from the financial sector, which turns out to be a problem because finances, a, mysterious, and, b, disliked. But there’s something about him that is not connecting.”

She was off my reading list when she made it perfectly clear that she was not going to support Sarah, even to defend her against the lies and scurrilous attacks from the left and especially the GOPE (Grand Old Party Establishment). When I finally understood what the GOPE was up to, I was off the reservation and I will not go quietly for a train ride to a prison in St. Augustine. (Geronimo reference)
Boehnor and McConnel can KMA! The RNC phone solicitors get an earfull every time they call. I take time out of my day to give it to them, opinions and never again money, until it has been cleansed.
Santorum should be talking around these opponents by addressing them briefly, and then differentiating himself from the Democrats(media too) in a more direct, dramatic way. It may be that he is being cheated of his time at the debates, its kinda obvious the folks out here seem to want a more aggressive tone and arent getting one.
Same here. As Newt gave his victory speech I was holding my breath and praying he wouldn't omit Perry.
There is some talk about Perry on the ticket but I just can't see him leaving a real job for a largely ceremonial one. Both men could get a lot more good accomplished, if Perry continued to govern in Texas; at least that's my .02.
Who was Mormon Mitt's biggest fan.
Thanks to the Republic that is Free,
The voters all drank the Tea,
So she's screeching like a banshee, again.
I’m not voting for Romney even if he wins the primary. I’m done voting for the candidate the MSM and GOP establishment chooses. I don’t like the dirty campaign Romney has ran either.
I think the basic problem Coulter and the rest of the “Conservative” media has is they make their money attacking the political establishment. It so much easier for them just being bomb throwers rather then having to support and build anything. They aren’t really interested in Conservatives being in power since their niche in the media market depends on Conservatives being angry outsiders.
And here’s the pitch.............a fast and down the middle and bada bing and wow Babylon takes a full swing and that post is going .... going.... GONE knocks it out of the park
It wasn’t so long ago that Ann Coulter was the only voice out there for laying the hammer on the left because the establishment types did not have the testicular fortitude to do it themselves. Sadly, Sarah was the only one and then instead of championing her efforts, Ann apparently made the incorrect calculation that Sarah was her competition for air time and not an ally of ideas.
