Well, everyone was upset at Huckabee for spoiling the race in 2008, handing the nomination to McCain instead of dropping out to support the true conservative in the race: Mitt Romney.
Elections are so strange.
Santorum has been bought by Romney, already. I saw that in the Thursday debate. He won’t be VP but he’s been promised a cabinet position for sure, rules or not.

If Newt dropped out, his supporters might go to Santorum, and it could be over. It could go either way. I, however, am not advocating that. This is a primary, and it should have multiple candidates with similar and contrasting view points. There are 47 states where votes have not been cast yet. It shouldn't be over yet. Let the people have their say.
