I don’t believe Palin actually endorsed Gingrich, she only said I would vote for him if I were allowed to vote in SC.
Newt has made some great debates, and he has scored big in them. I credit most of his rise in SC to those debates, and Newt.
Certainly a few voters may have come on board because of her statement, but I give more credit to Newt and the debates.
Newt was asked about Sarah`s semi endorsement, he stated that it was easy to see the impact, it was very real (paraphrasing from memory)
I bet tonight when Palin is giving her take she will make that clearer.
It was actually all of the above for myself and others I talked to. His debate skills plus her statement (which sounded like an endorsement to me). Until then a toss up between Santorum and Newt.
Oh.
That is now cleared up!
Newt worries me a little because he’s a little incorrigible but that can be a good thing too. For sure his brilliance in speaking is our best shot at getting the independents to realize how far down the left hole Obama has taken us.
Seems to me Romney’s advantage is that he probably wouldn’t piss off the independents who want something more mild - and that’s Romney, mild.
Santorum bugs me for some reason. I just don’t think he’s ready, doesn’t have the gravitas - of course he’d be WAYY better than what we’ve got.
If I could pick the POTUS without interference from idiots I’d pick Sarah.
