While I agree with some of Ron Paul's views, others are odious.

Of the other candidates, Santorum has the strongest record and platform of small government conservatism. Not ideal, of course.

I really can't imagine the defense of either Mitt or Newt as favoring small government.

Paul is Schizophrenic when it comes to conservative thought...he is much more a libertarian then conservative. As far as Newt, I believe his conservative thought is at odds with some of his grandiose ideas, however his is what the others aren't....a no holes barred WARRIOR...

As far as I'm concerned, that trumps ALL, and is EXACTLY what we need in our candidate. Not to mention the fact that he has come back from the dead more then once....isn't that something we DESPERATELY need from our side? YOU BET IT IS....
