Charleston, S.C. Speaking at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Herman Cain just announced his presidential endorsement.
After saying that it would not please the media (but it would please the American people), Cain said he was not endorsing a candidate, but instead, would endorse we the people.

“I endorse Wendy’s late night menu!”
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. There's literally zero upside for Obama to participate in a debate with Newt, and the press is guaranteed to cover his ass with anything even theoretically plausible for not his not participating in one.
Cain endorsed Us? That’s nice.
“I think he is right.”
I do to. I think he’s in the “Anybody But Obama” camp right now. Wish he’d endorse Newt though.
God what a clown
all jive....no shuck
Shameful.
Glad to see Herman endorse the people..., no one else is, including the Tea Party.
Wasilla Warrior playing hard, playing selfless for the team. Got to love it.
Maybe Obama will try not to participate but guaranteed Newt will dog him every place he goes. Newt already said he would follow him to every town. That was finally the reason Douglas agreed to debate Lincoln so maybe it will work again.
He has balls, but doesn't use them to fight for our country. The race is clearly down to Mitt and Newt. Newt stood up for Cain and Newt has policies that are similar to Cain's, yet Cain isn't man enough to return the favor and worse yet, he is not man enough to fight for our country.
I hope Cain fades and fades fast.
I never thought he would endorse Newt. However, I am surprised he didn’t endorse Romney.
I felt the same way after I donated to Christine O’Donnell. In fact, watching that train wreck is why I DIDN’T give to Cain.
My goodness, Cain bash much, people. I applaud him for this. The whole endorsement thing is stupid anyway. Anyone who votes based on how someone else tells them to is an intellectually lazy idiot. Maybe Cain feels that people should take the time to actually research candidates’ positions. What a novel idea.
My guess? He is trying to do something with the left over campaign cash with this politicing.
He mentioned on Boortz, speaking fees have doubled, it is starting to look like he has figured out how to ride this for every dollar he can...
Very dissapointed...
The poster was referring to tonight’s debate on CNN.
Not sure if this will take you where I intend or not, but check out this graphic on CNN showing the GOP candidates. They also include those who have dropped out: Perry, Huntsman, and Bachmann. Cain is not even shown:
