I'm officially endorsing Newt Gingrich for president today. Was going to wait until after Florida, but see no reason to delay. We need Newt to win in South Carolina and Florida to stop any possible momentum building up for the establishment big government, statist, abortionist RINO!!

RomneyCare = ObamaCare = government tyranny!! Taxpayer funded abortion is as evil as evil can be!!

Newt is a pro-life Reagan Revolution conservative who led the Republican Revolution of the 90’s, taking the majority away from the democrats who had held it for 40 years. And as Speaker, cut the taxes, cut the government, cut the spending, cut the deficit, cut regulations, cut unemployment, brought the federal budget under control for four years running. And unlike Romney, actually blocked a socialist healthcare system from becoming law. And created a pro-growth, pro-free market, pro-jobs environment and extended the Reagan economy throughout the 90’s!! Newt is the ideal candidate to lead the Tea Party Revolution!!

Newt plans to go to a 15% personal flat tax after deductions and a 12.5% corporate tax and eliminate the capital gains taxes altogether. He wants to privatize social security and medicare and eliminate the payroll tax.

And he wants to neuter the EPA and the Fed. Repeal ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank and Sarbanes-Oxley. Fire all of the czars, dismantle the Marxist state and fire if not jail Bernanke. And send 185 federal socialist welfare programs back to the states and the people, and return education back to local control.

Newt will directly challenge the liberal activist judiciary and end the unconstitutional power grabs of our usurping black robed rulers.

He wants to restore the constitutional balance of powers between the three branches and restore states rights and individual rights. He wants to turn government control back to the states and local people as the founders set it up.

These are the kind of dramatic reductions in government that the tea party is demanding.

And he has the knowledge, experience, know how, fire in the belly, and the balls to get it done!!

In short, I believe he's exactly what we grassroots conservative tea party rebels are looking for. I think we can use some of Newt’s conservative revolutionary talents right now!!

As long as the conservatives remain split, the establishment RINO Romney will waltz in just like McLame in 2008 and he will lose to Obama just like McLame. It's time to build the Gingrich Coalition!!

FR is hereby officially in full open rebellion against the elite GOP establishment and the Marxist commiecrats!!

Go, tea party!! Go, Newt!!

We are the resistance!!

Damn the torpedoes, damn the RINOs, damn the exes!! Full speed ahead!!

Free Republic is and will remain a pro-life, pro-family, limited government, strong defense, grassroots conservative site!!

RINOs need not apply!!

Happy Newt Day!! Only 366 days until President Newt evicts Obama!!

It works for me. Since the good, solid conservatives didin’t run he’s the best we have that is still viable. To hell with his ex-wife and the MSM and to hell with his “baggage”.

He may have jumped on the “global warmning” hoax bandwagon but what politician didn’t? The list is short. They all thought it was inevitable and they, being politicians, wanted to be at the policy making table. But I’m tired of conservatives just trying to make bad policy “just a little better” or “not as bad” instead of standing up and saying “go to hell you lying liberal scum”.

Newt didn’t do that but, fortunately, nothing came from cap and trade and now he can admint he was wrong. That’s better than a Romney or Perry just flat out flip-flopping and saying they were never really on board.

I also believe Newt can be controlled more than a Romney could. Newt would lean towards the conservative House members and ideas instead of getting together with Senate Dems to create “bipartisan” crap like Romney would.

Newt would listen to the Tea Party and all conservatives instead of acting like W Bush (and Romney) and ignore us while they push “comprehensive” immigration so-called reform, bailouts, TARP, etc. At least I have more confidence Newt wouldn’t go that route.

I hope by the time super Tuesday rolls around that I get a chance to vote in my primary in Tennessee for Newt and it’s not alreay a done deal for Romney.

Mrs...lol.

http://ncrenegade.com/editorial/newt-gingrich-i-am-a-realpolitick-wilsonian/

Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama have been repeatedly referenced as continuing the progressive tradition of Wilsonianism in America. This is primarily due to their continuing efforts of nation building and interventionism.

Your judgement is clouded with your rabid desire to take down Obama. We don’t need another Wilsonian in the WH!!!!

I threw in for Newt about a month ago.

It wasn't easy, my tag line will go something like this: Newt, because I trust all the others just a little less.......

:-)

That being said, I could support Santorum whole heartedly if he gains traction and wins. I can't say much about Romney. *crosses fingers Romney loses*

Newt is far from perfect but he's our best bet to beat Bammy Boy come November. Mittens is not a fighter and is hobbled by being:
  1. Mormon. Axelrod and Dems will grind out endless propaganda about Mitt's "racist church"
  2. Mitt is too Wall Street for this election season
  3. His Cayman accounts
  4. Paying only 15% taxes
  5. Bain's strip mining of companies
  6. will all be hung on him

  7. Newt is sparking clean in comparison despite his divorces and the one million he got from Fanny/Freddy
  8. Plus Newt is a street fighter who will verbally savage Bammy Boy and his Teleprompter

Boy, the Romney operatives on FR swarmed this thread immediately. They can't openly support him, so they hide in the corners like roaches and dash out to hit the candidate that is giving him problems. We've seen this on FR before and I bet several are back here under new screen names.

The Romney billions has been spread far and wide, to buy endorsements and hire sneaks to do the dirty work. What a fine, moral man he must be.../sarc

TN ended up with 50 or so delegates this year after FLA’s penalty. TN will go Newt IMHO. Newt needs to stay way past FLA.

My only comment is that if you’re going to nominate Gingrich I hope he picks a running mate who is smart enough to get a prenup.

But they will never volunteer to have an anal exam via the media/DNC/RINO machines....because we all have skeletons.

Exactly! I know a lot of tea party people and they/we are far from perfect.

I'm less concerned about Newt's failings. I want to know if he has the fight in him to lead as we all take back our country from those who are determined to destroy her.

Rick Perry dropped out today and endorsed Newt also. But, Jim’s endorsement is just as important as Perry’s.

The trust issue is a biggie for me. And it's too early to tell if Newt can be trusted.

JMHO.

That being said (as you said), if Newt is the nominee I will blow up bridges to get him elected.

I also wish someone would against Corker in the primary. If Super Tuesday rolls around and Romney is already the nominee and Corker is unopposed (all my local representatives are usually unopposed also) then I have nothing to vote for.
