she said she wanted to keep the contest going, and said she would vote for Gingrich. I did hear her and took that to mean it is too early to have the primary settled and a vote for Gingrich would keep Romney from winning it this early and keep the primary alive.

That’s good enough for me....

In South Carolina, I would vote for Newt.

I agree with you.
Santorum wont drop out, as his purpose is to act as spoiler for Romney by drawing away the evangelical vote.
He is a 100% RNC creature. Santorum would likely be happy to run as Romney's VP, but I wonder whether Romney would want a losing senator from PA as a running mate? I mean, there's no guarantee or recent evidence to think that Santorum could carry PA, save for Toomey's election, but Santorum didn't endorse Toomey the first time he ran.

Go back and listen to her statement. Sarah Palin is not endorsing Newt. If Perry was ahead of Gingrich and Santorum in the SC polls, then Sarah would be saying vote for Perry. If Santorum were ahead of Gingrich and Perry in the SC polls, then she would be saying vote for Santorum. Palin's statement is nothing more than an attempt to keep Romney from running away with it before Super Tuesday. But don't take my word for it. Listen to what Palin actually said.
If she were endorsing Newt, then she would have come out and said, "I'm endorsing Newt." But she didn't, and she's not.

I posted the video of her interview, thankyouverymuch!
I don’t need to go back to listen again.
You don’t like Newt Gingrich. Sarah Palin does. Get over it.
She’s against Romney’s coronation and knows he needs more vetting: i.e. the voters need to know more about him than the media and GOP-E are telling them!
Given that she’s already said, ABO, Sarah Palin would very much like to see “the process continue” so that Romney doesn’t win, “without a full vetting”, like his tax returns, to cite just one example.
I still stand by my original thoughts on her endorsement: I think her contract at Faux, likely prevents her from formally endorsing any single candidate, given that she’s a paid political contributor, but in this South Carolina race, she most assuredly did state her preference: NEWT GINGRICH!

Fate is not done with Sarah Yet, I could almost tremble at a Gingrich/Palin Ticket (But the People didn't want that in '08!) Yeah, go back in sit down you PDSer's Ubama is Losing big time, This Keystone Pipeline decision had people at my Work Today swearing some pretty bad stuff about him, we need to make sure that the Presidency isn't handed over to the spineless, Statist, Ubama lite, I mean Romney.
Go Sarah, GO!!!

It’s happening FAST now ... Sarah’s endorsement ... tomorrow’s debate ... Saturday’s voting ...
Who’ll take the high road and make way for Newt? Who has enough humility? Who can rein in that nasty devil, EGO, long enough to skewer Romney?

Did I say he was ‘terrible’? No. I just think Santorum would compliment the ticket. And who are ‘you guys’?

Your post is so wrong on all levels.....and to smear Senator Santorum in this way is disgusting.
You have absolutely nothing to base this on....just your anti-Santorum mindset.

She happens to be correct. And Santorum doesn’t have what it takes to go toe to toe with Obama. He isn’t a scrapper.

The Marxist’s Keystone Pipeline decision should have every American upset enough to vote him out, save for the whacked-out Left.
No further proof is needed to show that he is anti-energy and anti-jobs (union jobs) no less!
GO SARAH!
GO NEWT!

You can take issue with my opinion, but to call my opinion a smear is quite a stretch, Guenevere! I’m surprised and disappointed in you.

She actually said she’d vote for Newt if she were voting IN SOUTH CAROLINA — and only to keep the campaign rolling to other states. She didn’t endorse Newt.
