MADISON, Wis. -- Opponents of Wisconsin's Republican Gov. Scott Walker submitted nearly twice as many signatures Tuesday as required to force a recall election, but still face the challenge of transforming public outrage over his moves against unions into actual votes to oust him from office.

Hopefully Walker can win this and have the union have wasted hundreds of thousands for this waste of time.

They don’t to my knowledge even have his opponent picked out yet,... good luck with that. We know that 90per of those signatures are either fake or paid for (free cigs, food etc).
You can be sure most of them aren’t voting.

Just count how many cemeteries there are in WI, and that’s where they got those signatures.

A good proportion of the so-called signatures are fraudulent with names like Adolph Hitler (a socialist) and Mickey Mouse (with a higher IQ than all liberals) in abundance. Scott Walker will triumph but I seriously doubt that this will ever make it to the point of a recall election. Even with a long heritage of liberalism, Wisconsinites know that Conservatism has turned that state around for the better.

I think I wouldn’t even nother to run for governor in idiot wisconsin.

How much does it cost to run for governor?

How much does it cost to stay governor?

Screw that, let it burn into the gorund.

They say they have over 1 million signatures. I live just north of Milwaukee and never saw a single person going around to collect signatures, no flyers, no emails, nothing.

I believe something very positive can come out of this.

if the recall election turns out that Walker is OVERWHELMINGLY endorsed it immediately shows the weakness and the futility of efforts such as this recall by the LAME LEFT.

I think this will be another humiliating defeat like all the other union efforts up there. What exactly is the unknown candidate going to say? He wants to send the state back to high taxes and budget deficits? I will like to see how many people vote for that agenda.

Here's what Scott Walker thinks: Facing a total recall? Wis. Gov. Scott Walker defends his agenda as he prepares for recall election. He doesn't sound too upset.

(It's one of several interviews Walker gave on Tuesday, this one on Greta van Susteren's show).

What do you guys think?

In a democracy, people get the government they deserve. If the people of Wisconsin are stupid enough to fire a governor who is willing to face and deal with fiscal reality, they deserve the ruin that awaits all financial ignoramuses.
