I have been saying this every stinking election. It never happens. You always get some Iowa pipe-dreamer claiming momentum and refusing to ever drop out, even when the end result of their selfish ambition is obvious.
It will happen in 2016, too. You’ll have another upstart with no chance in hell of winning the nomination get an Iowa boost and then spend the next month splitting Conservative votes. And the Establishment will win again.
The fact that we can’t get the voters who are far behind to move to another candidate is typical, but it is no less disheartening every time it happens.
I will NEVER forgive Rick Santorum if he does what it looks like he’s going to do. This will be Arlen Specter on STEROIDS.
I think you are right. I know Rick is a good person but this thing is becoming silly-either we want a conservative or people are going to cave and go with a liberal republican. I am so tired of the same ole same ole.
Bleh. You are constantly running down Santorum on every thread you can find. Why doesn’t Newt back down? He has been bested in every contest so far by Santorum.
If Santorum beats Newt again in SC, are you going to call for your man to step away from the fight and suspend his campaign?
What in the h... is wrong with people? We have a clear winner in Newt, it is maddening for the rest to stay in this race. THEY REALLY MUST HATE AMERICA, is all I can figure.
They need to stop and think, and the other candidates need to drop out, make the sacrifice and get behind NEWT, for the good of this country. Otherwise it is going to be Romney.
