She has taken on a “guardian angel” role to a man who is internationally reviled: Joran van der Sloot, 24, the last person to be seen with Alabama teen Natalie Holloway before she went missing in Aruba and who also pleaded guilty this week to murdering a woman in Peru, reports The Gainesville Sun.

In light of Wednesday's confession to the murder of Stephany Flores, Joran van der Sloot now faces a prison sentence that could be far less than if he had gone to trial, but his self-professed "guardian angel" wants him to be released all together, claiming that in 2022 Joran will be presenting “his thesis of peace to the world.”
Mary Hamer, of Lake City, Florida, who has been paying the Dutchman's legal fees during his incarceration in Lima's Castro Castro prison, wrote a letter of appeal on Thursday to Peruvian President Ollanta Humala asking for Joran to be placed in her care.
"My humble request for clemency and mercy for honest and sincere statement of confession of Joran van der Sloot. Please release Mr. van der Sloot to me for 10 years Gandhi Nonviolence Program," wrote Hamer, in Spanish.

"In 2022, Mr. van der Sloot will present his thesis of peace to the Peruvian people and the world."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Florida-based radiologist believes that van der Sloot was suffering from post traumatic stress disorder when he killed Flores in a hotel room on May 30, 2010, the five-year anniversary of the date an Alabama teen went missing in Aruba, for which van der Sloot was arrested twice in connection with, but never charged.
There really are too many mentally deranged people in the world.

How many times I’ve asked myself how a fellow nurse ever got a license. Now I’m asking myself “how the HELL this dame isn’t losing her job?” Would you trust her to read YOUR pictures? Please someone, tell me if these people are falling out of the sky or what?
Yesterday I read that he will be extradited to the U.S. within a matter of months, to face extortion charges. Arrangements already made, according to the article.
I watched the sentencing on TV (in Session) and according to the translation he will be extradited to the US upon completion of his sentence in Peru: 28 years minus the time he has been incarcerated. Not questioning that the article you cited stated otherwise.

Purchase some on Dr. Mary Hamer if she should somehow, in a fluke of cosmic defying odds, manage to actually take custody of van der Sloot as she is requesting.

I am shocked that she is a doctor. She is nutty as a fruitcake, and her theories are ridiculous. She says she is his spiritual adviser and yet makes a video of wanting to kiss him. Sicko. Ugh.
This looks like an in progress attempt at suicide via van der Sloot.

Supposedly, in some nasty prison up in the mountains, they were saying on TV. Supposed to be a very unpleasant place to be. Unless they segregate him, he’ll probably be bumped off. The family of the slain girl or one of their well heeled friends will make sure to pay off some inmate to do the dirty deed. This guy’s toast.
