He endorsed Romney, but there were a certain amount of Huntsman supporters who were for him because they didn’t like Romney. Where are they going to go now? I guess many will go to Romney a few will go to Gingrich ,and some will go to Paul. It’s about time for the Ricks to drop out also.
Good thing you’ve given up before the battle’s even begun!
Considering he was never really in it, not much lost there. Note how he plans to support his fellow RINO, Myth, though.
:)
SHHHhhh Don’t let the MSM know that. It blows their “WIllard’s Winning” meme.
I don’t know, maybe you can ask him, huh? Do you think?/s
WHAT??????????????????
Who?
Check out WIKIpedia. Huntsman Chemical (daddy’s company) is owned by Bain (the company that Willard wants us to believe he doesn’t own anymore! (SO RELEASE YOUR RECORDS WILLARD!)
I just watched a repeat of the Huckabee forum in SC. Huntsman stood right there on stage last night and told the audience why they should vote for him, etc., just as if he was going to continue! Romney must have called up Daddy this morning and offered to pay back John’s debts.
Just as I said, “Come next Saturday night, our choice will be down to three, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum & Ron Paul”. Of the three that I said would be out, Huntsman is now gone. Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry will be gone by Saturday evening, or.....be totally ineffective in future primaries, mainly due to efforts upon their behalf by themselves that did go down well with rank and file Republicans, Conservatives and Independents!!! Ranting and raving in support of Gingrich and Perry is just a simple waste of time!!! My support goes to Santorum!!!
Perry is not going to drop out until the point of maximum leverage w Romney. That is not until after FL, at the earliest.
1. Perry wants a prime time speech at the convention to rehabilitate his image.
2. He prefers Romney - fellow governor w executive experience - over Gingrich or Santorum or Paul.
3. He wants a friend in the Oval Office as the sitting governor of Texas
4. He wants a cabinet position in the Romney addministration when his term expires - like Connolly w Nixon.

So what now happens to Huntsman’s delegates from his 3rd place finish in NH?
Does Mitt now automatically get them?
If Mitt wins, he’d be dumb to place another Mormon in his cabinet. He seems to have to fight that battle of perceptions already.
Good grief granny, SC has WV beat on trailers!
Depends on the state law.
Please do not direct any more comments to me, and I will extend the same courtesy to you.
There is something wrong with your thinking processes or your ability to live in a world outside of personal fantasy. The Force isn’t going to come help Rick Santorum become president in our universe.
I have invested too much, for too long, for too many campaigns to keep debating with YET ANOTHER “If only our faith in so-and-so was strong enough, he’d win!” supporter. I’m tried of watching this movie; and I for one have no interest in trying to convince another hopeless political theater-goer that the ending of the movie won’t be different this time just because they showed-up and bought a ticket and want a different ending to happen.
Santorum is done. He can serve ABSOLUTELY NO PURPOSE WHATSOEVER but to give Mitt Romney the nomination. And I for one will never forgive him for this if he succeeds; I will oppose him for any office for which he decides to run if he continues to help Mitt Romney. He is DEAD to me if his ambition does the severe damage to Conservatism that a Romney nomination brings about.
Rick Santorum is a much, much, much, much, much weaker version of Mike Huckabee. He can only do damage to the cause at this point, and he should be an intelligent enough man to realize that. But he either isn’t, or he just doesn’t care.
Huntsman could teach Santorum a thing or two about understanding that living in a state for a year+, and finishing strong there, does not automatically make you a contender for the nomination.
Mitt is counting on money, Fox News, and the Establishment.
Newt is counting on Conservative pragmatism, money, and the Debates.
Santorum is counting on a series of never-ending miracles.
Do not address me any more, please.
Huntsman doesn’t have to be in the cabinet. He could be an ambassador, for example. Frankly, he could easily be appointed to the UN.
