If King were alive today he'd been a disgraced man.
1. His plagiarism would have been public and he'd been stripped of his doctorate degree and acknowledged to have stolen the bulk of several of his famous speeches that were first attributed to him.
2. His extramarital affairs would have become public and his trysts with prostitutes would have become known
3. His lack of morals would have created more extramarital affairs and his credibility would be diminished greatly. Congress would have not sealed up all they have on him for 75 years had he lived and it would have become public.
I don't agree MLK was as great for our country as was Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, Ben Franklin or Teddy Roosevelt.
MLK spoke out for merit on the basis of skin color.
This cannot be compared with the founders whose idea of merit rested on character.
