ATLANTA — A top White House adviser delivered a message of hope at Martin Luther King's church in Atlanta.

Valerie Jarrett spoke at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Sunday and told worshippers that she believed King would "join with us in celebrating the progress we've made" if he were still alive.

She said: “We have learned, time and time again, that change is hard.”

Yeh especially when nobody wants it.

Change is hard, but if ya’ll would rather stay on the democratic plantation and be subservient to your democratic massah’s, then don’t change.

Change is hard to find in our pocketbooks too. Valerie's income level probably won't be affected by another of his (and her) proposals:

Obama: Raise airline fees, eliminate Saturday mail

Snip: January 15, 2012 Similarly, an Obama plan to double the Transportation Security Administration's security fee for nonstop air travel from $5 to $10 a round-trip ticket - a sure bet to anger travelers - would raise only enough money to pay for about one month of the tax cut.

If this was during service, this was a mistake. I’m not aware that she is a Christian. If she was speaking as Obama’s proxy, she had no business in the pulpit.

Boy oh boy, the Dems are certainly getting them out to Obama's base. I can just hear the "Amens" and "Praise the Lord" being shouted when Jarrett spoke to them.

But, I ask: Why is it that the party that DEMANDS separation of church and state from everyone else showing up continually and preaching to worshipers in churches? We know why...it is the only place they can have a captive audience of Obama's supporters and get them when they are already hyped up in "hallelujah" mode by their minister.

How I wish God would send a thunder bolt, or cloud burst when the lies being told in His house are spouted from the mouths of these evil hearted, anti-American, anti-Christianity, anti-white hypocrites who care nothing about the Black community except to get their vote count. Then the Dems never do them any good; cause them more suffering and unemployment - and make it harder for them.

BTW - the AP writer spelled worshipers incorrectly in the title. There is only one "p" in worshipers, though many misspell it, a headline should have it spelled correctly. No wonder our younger generation can't spell. So much for college educated journalists. Don't they even have spell check?

If King were alive today he'd been a disgraced man.
1. His plagiarism would have been public and he'd been stripped of his doctorate degree and acknowledged to have stolen the bulk of several of his famous speeches that were first attributed to him.
2. His extramarital affairs would have become public and his trysts with prostitutes would have become known
3. His lack of morals would have created more extramarital affairs and his credibility would be diminished greatly. Congress would have not sealed up all they have on him for 75 years had he lived and it would have become public.

I don't agree MLK was as great for our country as was Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, Ben Franklin or Teddy Roosevelt.

Let’s make it harder to fundamentally transform this nation to Marxism.

MLK spoke out for merit on the basis of skin color.

This cannot be compared with the founders whose idea of merit rested on character.

Thank you for stating the FACTS about MLK, instead of repeating the usual myth perpetuated by the media.

A top White House adviser
Valerie Jarrett

Could you be a little more specific? Many in Congress and the Senate don't recognize the name either.
