Jackie Green became the UK's youngest transsexual after an op in Thailand on her 16th birthday.
The 18-year-old — who was born Jack but lived as a girl since age ten — was asked to enter by modelling scouts who had no idea of her history.
The aspiring model, from Leeds, hopes to use the opportunity to speak out about bullying and transgender issues.
She said: "I went to the Britain's Next Top Model show in London and was really surprised when scouts came up to me. Miss England is a prestigious competition. I'd love to win. I've as good a chance as anyone."
At 12 mum Susie, 43, took her to a US clinic for hormone treatment to stop her male puberty. The divorced IT manager then re-mortgaged her house to fund Jackie's £28,000 sex change op.
Bullying led her to attempt suicide five times. She said: "I can never thank my mum enough, she saved my life."
She is in the Miss Fresh Photographic round of the contest where public votes decide who makes the semi-finals.

My post to you was ironic, about how easy it is to throw out lazy stereotypes. Ergo all English people have bad teeth and all Americans are fat rednecks.

Moot point - "she's" not going to win.
Even if they don't give "it" the top crown and title, I just don't see how they can avoid giving "it" one of the lesser runners-up positions - entirely for political reasons of course. Failure to do so would instantly cause the entire Miss England Pageant administration and panel of judges to be mercilessly mau-mau'd by all of the "usual suspect" Leftist pressure groups, media hacks and politicians. The entire Pageant staff would be subjected to the full force of the Left's apparatus of personal destruction. The Pageant administration knows this, and I predict they will cave to this pressure of political correctness, which, under a Socialist government, also carries with it the very real danger of a withdrawl of funds as well as TV air time for future Pageants.
That being said, there will be all sorts of cultural damage and fallout from this. On top of completely and visibly corrupting the Pageant and all it stands for, there's the incalculable hurt that this will cause other contestants.
Being a scruffy, flea-infested and rather unkempt male stoat I can only guess at the pain this would cause. I'm thinking that a pretty young Lady who may not completely grasp the entirely political nature of this thing's entry and, at minimum, runners-up crowning would be utterly devastated by it. I'm imagining a young girl who had worked so very hard toward this Pageant thinking "I was beaten by a GUY, and a mentally-defective one at that!" What a terrible thing for a pretty Lady to have to carry with her for the rest of her life.
Such a shame that the other contestants' feelings are apparently not being considered at all in this matter and are being completely overshadowed by the political cancer that the Left inflicts upon everything its tentacles can reach.

Going back to bullies, they tend to be kids with issues who look for easy targets. It’s still that way today.

And I know that all white men are not like this, and there are plenty of examples from other groups. The point is if boys are allowed to bully each other when they're young, where are they going to draw the line when they get older? It's not stopping it, but failing to stop it, that has resulted in the widespread disfunction of many of today's boys and young men.

If you mean that this what boys are becoming, I don't buy that teaching them not to bully each other leads to that. There are other reasons, but more importantly is the lack of effort to prevent it.

I got bullied....tall for my age...older lads wanted a go...I was skinny but game I learned to box Golden Gloves and my big Chuck Conners type dad trained me...I kicked ass. I learned. This is how men are made.
I have no problem with teaching boys to defend themselves, but teaching boys not to bully each other is NOT in conflict with teaching them self defense and will NOT stop them from growing up to be real men.

Teaching boys not to bully each other is NOT muzzling men. If anything, it would go a long way towards uniting future generations of men against many of the injustices that many of today's "manly" men refuse to stand up to.

I am 54...my pic on my homepage..old beat up but big...two open hearts from a congenital defect...but i know as well as my hair is white everywhere..lol..sadly...that I will still fight even at my age if I have to...someone cracks on my wife or is outta line with my kids then I'm going physical and just hope I can damage them enough quick or I'm done in about 30 seconds (no side jokes please) my oldest...11 ..is a hoss and promises he will have my back when I am truly too old to do much but sell wolf tickets...bless his heart
