Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, launched his South Carolina money bomb Saturday. The South Carolina money bomb is the latest in a series of money bombs that have raised funds for campaign events and ad buys in the early voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
Although Mr. Paul has not set a fundraising goal for the South Carolina money bomb, the Texas congressman has hauled in more than $160,000 as of 9am EDT Saturday. Mr. Pauls most recent money bomb, the Tea Party money bomb, had a fundraising goal of $4 million, but it had pulled in more than $6 million by the time it ended.
Mr. Pauls second place finish in the New Hampshire Primary has propelled the former Air Force surgeon into third place in the latest polls of likely South Carolina Republican primary voters. A Public Policy Polling poll, released Friday, found Mr. Paul in third place with a one point lead over former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. Pre-New Hampshire Primary polls of likely South Carolina Republican presidential primary voters found Mr. Paul in fourth place.
The date of next Saturdays South Carolina Primary will mark just over three years since Barack Obama was sworn in as President, Ron Paul 2012 Campaign Manager John Tate said in an email to campaign supporters Friday. Looking ahead, my hope is that date will also be just under one year until President Obama is kicked out of office and Ron Paul becomes the next President of the United States, Mr. Tate added.
Although the Paul campaign has not specifically identified how the funds from the South Carolina money bomb will be used, the money raised from the Tea Party money bomb supported a major ad blitz in the Hawkeye State in the days leading up to the Iowa Caucuses.

my question too
The nut ran the first time as a libertarian and failed, he has now ran on a republican ticket twice and he is using our platform,, our conventions, out ticket to promote his bigoted, racist nutcase views and the GOP ALLOW THIS CRAP.
He is not a republican therefore the whack job needs to be told to piss off
Here is the nuts agenda, he’d get rid of the CIA, FBI,. NSA too.
He’s passed one bill in 30 for crying out loud, 30 years WOW.
How anyone can say they support him and be proid that they are now equating themselves with a racist bigoted frail confused old man is sickening.

Also he has been chairmen of the banking committee since the GOP took over the House in 2010. Where's the Fed audit? I don't even see an audit scheduled! Maybe the Rats and rascally fellow Republicans blocked the audit? If they did why isn't he screaming about that? That would be a great campaign issue! Where's the hearings? Where's the report? I expected him to be waving a Fed audit report around as part of his campaign rhetoric! All I see is nothing but his normal noise, NO and I mean NO SUBSTANCE!

very good points.
He even stated he has no chance of winning and yet numpties still give him money.
Last weekend he said he was the only true Democrat, he doesn’t even know what ticket he’s on and yet there are people voting for him, not a lot but still.
The GOP has a lot to answer for that’s for sure.

Ron Paul and the bulk of his nut job anarchist Mob Zombies serve only one purpose: to destroy Conservatism and the GOP in whom they hate more than the Obama drones do.
To them, Conservatives are nothing but evil NWO ‘neocons’ worthy of death. And make no mistake - they will threaten to kill you and yours with righteous indignation, romantically thinking themselves as some kind of angelic ‘minutemen’ for “truth”.
They talk with glee in tearing down the ‘evil empire’ and ‘stringing up’ all the evil ‘neocons’.
They are nothing but a twisted strain on the same plane as the Marxist Obama drones, and our destruction is a shared goal - albeit for slightly different reasons.
They are defacto allies.

Say something that sounds “constitutional” but really isn’t. May be toss in some Code Pink anti war terms, praise Bradley Manning and mention how bad the Jews were for causing 9/11 with Bush.
The I bet you’d get $50.00

How about sending me $25?
Why would I send money to you so you could support some candidate who supports or supported healthcare mandates, big bank bailouts, Medicare expansions, big unions, America as the worlds policeman and nationbuilder, debt limit raisers, and any number of other issues the other candidates fall short on? Why not support a consistent conservative candidate saying the same thing for 30 years?
I don't care about code pink and david duke and whomever other wacky supporters ron paul has, as people always post on these threads. Freedom and liberty bring all kinds of nuts out of the woodwork, as I know first hand from dealing with Ron Paul people 4 years ago. Infact, they are often equally appalled at each other. :) But these folks are a minority and Paul doesn't care about their pet causes anyway, the vast majority of his support is from libertarian minded republicans and arch conservatives, which is why people like Sara Palin, DeMint, have said good things about him. Limbaugh has lauded his economic plan.

And besides that, he also supports them.

Ok, then kindly explain why any REAL conservative would call the traitor Bradley Manning a 'patriot' and a 'hero' as did Ron Paul? For all of his prattle about how much he cares about our military, to call someone like Manning a 'patriot' is crapping all over our troops.
Want more? What kind of REAL conservative would urge his supporters four years ago to support the likes of Cynthia McKinney and/or Ralph Nader?
Finally, what sort of REAL conservative would essentially DEFEND the Iranians mad drive for nuclear weapons by actually saying "if I were the Iranians, I would want nuclear weapons too"?!?
Ron Paul may have some positive ideas about the economy, but when you mix in his more insane views and actions, three of which I've pointed out above, it only means that to drink the Ron Paul Sauce, you're going to get sick, VERY sick, no matter how tasty it is, and no matter how much you think it's going to improve our economic health.
In conclusion, I quote our esteemed Founder when he said just this past Tuesday,
