In November 2016, Illinois voters will go to the polls to decide who they want to occupy the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican Sen. Mark Kirk. And although it is a long way off, could one of the names on the ticket be first lady Michelle Obama?
At the end of this weekend’s broadcast of “The McLaughlin Group,” show host John McLaughlin made that bold prediction, saying a Michelle Obama run for the seat her husband won in 2004 would happen.
“Michelle Obama will run for the United States Senate in 2016 and she will be thereby mimicking, if that’s not the right word [then] duplicating the career of Hillary Clinton,” McLaughlin said.

It’s going to happen.....the Obama’s marriage is as much of a scam as the Clintons, but Michelle, like Hillary stays in it to further her future ambitions.
That’s the sad thing, even after Obama is out of office, they wont go away.
I say she won’t do it. It’s too much work and the pay and perks aren’t as generous.
By then BO will have grabbed enough power to appoint her during a recess appointment.
I’m sure she’s eager to explain her $300,000 salary at the CU hospital which required her to show up now and then or, why she lost her license to practice law which liberal support site Snopes reported as procedural.
Unless Romney is King. Then he will appoint Ann Coulter or Barbra Bush.
She has the requisite honesty, morality and IQ to be an ideal liberal senator.

Don't forget, like any affirmative action baby, she automatically gets 10 points in the polls just for showing up and filling in the application.
Although the thought of charming and mild-mannered Michele Obama as a U.S. Senator is depressing, I think it could happen. Hillary Clinton - with no real qualifications but a philandering husband (who happened to be the POTUS) that humiliated her for all the world to see - won a New York senate seat almost by acclimation and Illinois is just as much a liberal Democrat-run state as N.Y. If Barack Obama loses this election - as is likely - electing Michele Obama as a senator representing Illinois will be considered a consolation prize. IF Obama wins re-election, Michele Obama winning an election to the U.S. senate will be considered a continuation of the Obama ‘dynasty’. Of course, either way, her election would be a travesty but then, so was the 2008 election of the anti-American Kenyan Marxist we now call President Obama.
We don’t need the @TheAngryMooch in the Senate or in any other elected office.
Another reason why Moochelle must be SAVAGED in 2012: for her lavish spending, unprecedented staff, dictatorial food edicts, and her pre-FLOTUS “work” with HCA and Chicago Hospital and Medicare fraud.
