President Barack Obama will ask Congress for greater powers on Friday to shrink the federal government and consolidate several trade and commerce related agencies, which would save the government just $3 billion over 10 years, and eliminate 1,000 jobs. $3 billion over TEN YEARS? The government during the last three years has borrowed on average about $4 billion EACH DAY. In addition, Obama notified Congress on yesterday of his intent to raise the nations debt limit by $1.2 trillion to cover increased U.S. spending commitments. The proposed savings, $3 billion, is one-four-hundredth of the debt limit increase he just requested from Congress. Its also less than half of what Obama tossed away on his supposed green-tech jobs stimulus. Obama plan eliminates 1,000 positions through attrition (when workers retire, you dont rehire for their position), out of a total of roughly 2.1 million federal employees.

OBAMA SPEAKS LIES.
Rope a dope.
Grifter in Chief
etc etc etc
The GOP House should tell Obama that since he's in the mood to cut agencies they will help him. The House should immediately pass a bill that cuts the EPA, NPR and some others that double the savings of Obama’s claim.
—Stewart said McConnells office will review the details of the plan once the White House provides them.—
Naw. Like Nancy says, we should pass it so we can see what’s in it.
Government by Pinata!
And another page turns on the Obamayan calendar.
They should tell Obama not to even bother submitting a plan until he gets rid of his end-run-around Congress czars & rescinds his latest unconstitutional appointments. And, if they really had stones, they’d tell him Eric Holder has to be gone as well. But we know not one of these things will happen and Obama will play the Stupid Party for maximum effect i.e. his goal of re-election, no matter what it takes.
Obama is doing his best to take some of the fight out the the tea party/conservatives. Plus he is positioning himself to say, “see it isn’t me who is not trying to shrink government”
By reorganizing, it provides him a greater opportunity to put his own people in places of power.
Insist he come to congress with specific plans. Not a request for blanket authority.

This law takes effect with the day of its proclamation. It loses force on 1 April 1937 or if the present Reich government is replaced by another.
FUBO!
I have a perfect example of streamlining gone bad: Department of Homeland Security. How’d that work out? /rhetorical
He’s too stupid to know that all he’s really doing is putting the fight back INTO the conservatives/Tea Party Patriots....and making us even more determined to defeat him. Ironic.
“Obama is doing his best to take some of the fight out the the tea party/conservatives. Plus he is positioning himself to say, see it isnt me who is not trying to shrink government”
No he’s being brilliant. You win if you canb make people think you are conservative. The idiot republicans believe you win by pandering to liberals.
