An impressive record of service, Kathy - I did not know tongue-tied, but from everything I have read on this thread he was an exemplary gentleman - a rarity in these coarsened times. May he rest in eternal peace!

I just scoured the email, and I don’t see any pics there, it must have been freepmail.
I’ll find them, at any rate they where pics of his place in the Nevada desert in winter.
I remember there was snow and there was a river/creek.
I don’t recall if there were wild mustangs in the pic or if he had just told me that there were mustangs out there.
Believe it or not there are places out west where they do run wild. There is a place in the Anza Borrego desert that is full of them.

You know, there are notes at the Cabin that Chris wrote that night, adding to the ledger of the history of that place.
I think we all penned something down for posterity.
If I recall correctly we were all pretty silly in what we wrote.
Now I will never be able to go there without thinking of him.
Thank God we all got to have such a good time.

Yes, a sudden and terrible loss.
May these two faithful, steadfast FReepers — two highly gallant and courageous men who served their families and country so well — rest forever in the perfect peace and love of our Lord.
I wish to extend my deepest prayers and heartfelt condolences to their family members and friends. May God bless.

I worked with Chris Healy (tounge-tied)in Iceland and always planned look him up but never did. Was he still married to Teresa and do you know what happened to him?
To: westpac1955
Good morning, westpac1955....Chris retired in mid-year 2010 in Nevada....NAS Fallon was his last assignment. He bought a house....then in early December he had a stroke, told family he would be fine.

I remember when Logan would get out the entire base would go on alert until he was found. I’m going to try and get in touch with Teresa and see how she is doing there is one Teresa L Healy on facebook it may be her. Thanks again.
