I feel the same way. Newt made a fool of himself this morning on F&F but even leading up to it, his attacks on Romney REALLY show his colors. Same for Perry. I guess we should all thank God we see it clearly now and then push hard for Santorum. He’s our last, best hope.

—At least with mitt we will know what we are getting.—
Is that sarcasm? That is the main problem with Mitt, assuming you are talking about what he says. If you are talking about what he DOES and comparing that to Newt, then Mittens comes out even worse.

So you don’t think that Romney should have to explain his lies about his “business experience,” his reliance on a government bailout for assistance in one case, and his lies about “creating employment?”
But I guess asking Romney to explain or be honest about anything constitutes an unforgivable sin among the GOP elites.

Newt's persona not too different than that of Chris Christie. He is not afraid to offend; and so not afraid to lead. Suck up your offense; and appreciate that Newt, more than any candidate, can and if he has opportunity; will absolutely, LEAD this country into "change"; the kind that historically, all American's have believed in.
Get over it; and support the man who can restore America and who can recognize and deal with it's enemies. (Something Mitt; ill prepared to do. (He cannot even call Obama a 'socialist'(or worse; as the case may be) for fear of offense.)
Wake up; Mitt Repubs; to the Brer Rabbit offense/defense; going on by GOP.

After Iowa anything—ANYTHING AT ALL—Newt says is OK by me.

As South Carolina draws near, the left can’t help themselves.
They are determined to stop Gingrich.
Think about that for a minute—the left is rabidly opposed to Newt Gingrich.

Just admit to inhaling too many welding fumes and all will be forgiven.
For a man like Mutt, Conservatism is just political strategy.
Mutt's has no core principles and values other than to say & do whatever he thinks will get him elected.

Well, I’m sure you knew you would get scorched when you seemed to support Romney, so hopefully you had donned your asbestos suit before you hit “Post.” Sorry for the personal attacks against you. Don’t really like to see that sort of thing on FR. But, I guess they’re allowed. So, it is what it is.
As to Newt, I agree with you to the extent that he went way beyond the pale in his attacks on Romney’s venture capitalism. In so doing, he once again revealed the smarmy, self-aggrandizing side of himself that makes many of us flinch.
Still, I would still much prefer either Mitt or Newt (or for that matter, Satan) to Obama. So, I hope our Repubs don’t destroy each other in quests for power.

There is a huge difference between Romney and Obama...
Exactly $50.
Under RomneyCare, abortions cost $50.
Under ObamaCare, killing your baby is free.
