Activist: My ‘tactics’ same as media’s

The guerrilla gotcha artist who punked New Hampshire says his latest ploy — using dead people’s identities to get ballots in the Granite State primary — is no different than what any hard-hitting network news operation does.

It’s just another kind of investigative journalism, insists conservative video activist James O’Keefe, who is now facing a state investigation.

“There is definitely a double standard against citizen journalists,” said O’Keefe. His undercover stings embarrassed ACORN in 2009, when he posed as a pimp seeking criminal advice from the left-leaning community service organization — and prompted high-level resignations at NPR, after an O’Keefe team posing as Muslim donors taped an executive calling Tea Party conservatives “seriously racist, racist people.”

“I notice a contempt and a hostility from the media establishment towards us,” O’Keefe told the Herald yesterday. “The journalism establishment is not very friendly to me or to our work product, when they’ve been using these tactics for decades.”

Tuesday, O’Keefe targeted New Hampshire’s lack of a voter ID law. His video, posted at Dailycaller.com, showed poll workers handing ballots to people who asked whether recently deceased voters were listed, carefully wording their requests to avoid claiming to be those people. O’Keefe said his operatives hit 13 polling locations and were offered ballots in about 10 of them, but never actually voted. The Herald reported online Tuesday that a poll worker who recognized a dead man’s name turned one of O’Keefe’s operatives away.

‘STUNT’: James O’Keefe, above, who dispatched operatives to New Hampshire polling places to target the state’s lack of a voter ID law, says there’s a double standard for ‘citizen journalists.’

It would be great if this could be presented as evidence in those states presently under attack by holder and hussein for their current voter ID laws.

And the Bull crap about New Hampshire being famous for it’s “Independent influence” is just libtards who have no intention of voting for the Republcian. When Rush advised folks to do thisin Ohio a few years back the Brown Shirt Media was apoplectic. Look at the number of “republican” primary voters compared to voters in the last presidential election. Now compare the percentage of voters for the same stastic in Iowa. A sizable chunk of “Republicans” in New Hampshire the other day have no intention of voting for the Republican. But it’s libs so the Brown Shirt Media isn’t interested.

From the Manchester Union-Leader on-line edition... "People who pull stunts like this should be prosecuted,” Nashua City Clerk Paul Bergeron said.

...but it's okay for '60 Minutes', right, Paul..? Especially if they can nail some of those scum-sucking republicans...

Another howler from a flaming lib/progressive in the UL comments section:

"Requiring photo ID would eliminate many voters. The Veritas company that made this bogus video is another conservative organization doing Republican biased work. I would seriously doubt the originality of this video.....photoshop and like programs can make sophisticated copy. Another ploy to eliminate lower tier voters that might/likely to vote Democratic."

Time to go feed your cats, honey...

From the article:

Kelly McBride, a journalism ethics expert...

McBride, you drooling, microcephalic slack-lipped idiot; you’re an “expert” in a non-existent field: Journalism ethics, my narrow ass! You journ-0-listers sicken me.

Take off your official 0bama-DNC kneepads and begone luser.
