Palin urges Romney to Release Tax Returns, Provide Proof he Created 100,000 Jobs at Bain Capital
Big Government ^ | January 11, 2012

Posted on 01/12/2012 2:00:36 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

Former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has called for Gov. Mitt Romney to release his tax returns, as well as the data that could substantiate his claim of having created 100,000 jobs as CEO of Bain Capital.

Romney has resisted releasing his tax returns, and his campaign has thus far refused to provide the hard proof to back up his claims about Bain.

“Governor Romney has claimed to have created 100,000 jobs at Bain, and people are wanting to know: is there proof?” Palin told Sean Hannity on Fox News.

Rick Tyler, former Gingrich aide and head of Newt Gingrich’s Super PAC, has already accused Romney of having created those 100,000 jobs in Asia and Mexico. Earlier this week, Big Government pointed out that Romney’s claim to have created 100,000 jobs contrasts with claims he made during his 1994 U.S. Senate campaign, when he claimed to have created 10,000 jobs at Bain. Romney retired from Bain Capital in 1999.

Palin said that Romney needed to come clean about his record, given the likelihood that Democrats would probe the tax issue and Romney’s tenure at Bain if he were to become the Republican nominee.

The former Alaska governor also told Hannity that she did not think it was inevitable that Romney would become the Republican nominee.

“The majority has not yet coalesced around one,” she said, adding that conservatives were still searching for the right “free market, pro-military” candidate to back.

In other words, he’s not untouchable.

Rush is a slave to those powers outside of his own will which determine for him the words that come out of his mouth.

And by the way, for anyone who thinks Romney and Obama would be no different. Maybe from our peon perspective.

But not from Rush’s perspective.

Rush, if he endorses the nominee correctly, will have some influence and access to the White House inner circles.

If Obama wins, then Rush will obviously not have access and will actually be weakened some in influence.

Palin is already out of access with any of the campaigns on the right, and her influence is limited now to these twitterbytes.

All these decisions Rush is making are ten levels beyond any pissant call he may get from someone from Bain. And nobody at Bain would risk losing a golden goose.

We all know Romney is not a conservative.

Yet if Rush could take him out of the race, why doesn’t he do it now?

Either Rush can’t do it, or he doesn’t support conservatism in principle.

Ok sure. And you are a slave to Jockey Corp who forces you to wear clean underwear.

Rush ...is a PERFORMER with common sense.... which determines for him the words that come out of his mouth.

Unlike FR where nobody has to refrain from spewing illogical brain farts.

It was a minuscule $2M VC investment. I would love to see the terms.

I was in on the tech boom from the ground floor and have seen the best and worst of venture capitalists.

Duh. Rush supports Rush in principle. Period. Done. End of story!

Rush pushed MCPAIN for crying out loud. There is no principle but for that which helps his own success.

Speaking of conservative principles? Drug addict? Serial divorcee?

Romney's not Gordon Gekko. He's not that smart. Rush is though!

Not that there's anything wrong with that if it's constrained in a just capitalist society.

Go Rush!

Here you go Perry's Returns back to 1987

Now, where did you say Romney's are?

I did not say that Romney released his returns.

On the other hand, you DID say that ALL the other candidates have released theirs.....so, where are the returns for Gingrich, Huntsman, Cain, Bachman, Paul, Santorum?

Ask Cain, Santorun, Gingrich supporters, I’m not their mommie, nor am I yours. My guy is honest, it’s your guy who is obviously hiding something.

Romney can ignore anyone in the GOP E X C E P T Palin.

He'll released it all within a week or he's over.

Count on it.

I also expect a SARAH Palin endorsement of Newt to go along with Todd.

A Sarah Palin endorsement carries more weight than any other possible endorsement in the party.

Doing well MK....busy running the kids everywhere all the time...

Say, I resemble that remark! lol

In my spare time, I take anger management deep breathing exercises due to watching too much FNC...F’nRomney News Channel.

To quote the Sink Emperor, "I feel your pain".

How about you.

Staying busy, on a new diet for the New Year (everyone laugh now), not so much for weight related reasons, but just to feel better overall, got that "Dr Joel Fuhrman" diet and have to say it is quite interesting. Besides that, working on client computers, killing viruses and root kits, cleaning out the garbage, that keeps me out of trouble most days, lol

My best to you and yours for a terrific 2012.

MKJ :)

"Clear Channel owned by Bain Capital"

Absolutely correct.

In 2006 they entered a $26bil "merger" with Bain as the senior partner and leadership team.

Rush is bought and paid for by the Romney entity. As is almost all "conservative media"...

Somebody needs to look into ownership of ALL conservative media personalities who are now endorsing Romney.

Ann Coulter? Who is paying HER bills?

http://www.clearchannel.com/Corporate/PressRelease.aspx?PressReleaseID=1824

I'd also like to know which GOP office holders have received substantial funds from Romney connected PACs and even direct contributions to their campaigns.

This is filthy...

One last question for anyone on here who thinks Bain/ClearChannel/PremierNetworks is controlling what Rush Limbaugh says about Romney...

If so, why is the Premier Network playing Newt’s Romney Bashing ad from http://www.winningourfuture.com/ on Rush’s show?

Sometimes a talk show guy is just a talk show guy, not the target of a “vast capitalist conspiracy!”

Perry may make the decision about whether Newt or Santorum stays in the race.

Perry, I agree, will be done after SC. There’s no reason to debate why; we can just agree that the stars didn’t align correctly for him this time. Often, that’s just the way it is.

Perry’s endorsement will be valuable though, if he issues it quickly after SC (when it has time to impact the Fla race).

I agree, I’ve given up for the most part talk radio.
Take Hannity what a fraud that man is. He’;s more interested in having his liberal pals on his show, going to their cocktail parties and never talks about social issues and then he tells us he is a Catholic and was to become a Priest.
ARF

When don’t ask was being talked about I and other vets including some serving tried tom call his show and ask him that he keeps saying he is for the troops then mention don;t ask and inform his viewers etc that we do not want it and that the survey which went out never went to us combat troops
Every time we got told that he was not talking about that issue even though that was the biggest news story that week.
When one vet got through by lying tot he screener and as soon as he mentioned homosexuals in the military he got cut off.
He couldn’t give a crap about the military like so many others, we are used for photo op’s like obama said, we are used to promote them.

H’es like the others, money , power and popularity, they couldn’t give a crap about conservatives or our agenda because it pisses off their cross dressing homosexual, elitist famous pals.
