Business mogul Warren Buffet is promising to match any donation Republican members make toward cutting the national deficit. And he upped the ante when it came to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), saying he would match the leader's donations three-to-one. His pledge comes after McConnell said that if Buffett is feeling guilty about not paying more in taxes, he should just send in a check. "With regard to his tax rate, if hes feeling guilty about it, I think he should send in a check," McConnell said on NBC's "Meet the Press" in September.

No mention in the article if Mr. Buffett will share the proceeds of his sleazy insider deals he made with the Obama administration...
Why won’t he match any Democrat donation?
Hey Buff! How ‘bout matching any ‘RAT donation! Then I’d be impressed.
Oh please. Just quit lying.
“Before asking around for blood donations, stop the bleeding.”
Notice how he didn’t extend the offer to Dems? He knew he didn’t have to because there’s no way in hell any Dem is going to do anything other than raise the deficit.
Guess he didn’t want to draw attention to that.
How did this child get his hands on so much money?
You could donate it all Buffett and it wouldn’t make a dent.
How about he just pays the gigabuck-or-so that Berkshire Hathaway owes?
What a coward. He should make a payment, and THEN challenge anyone else to match it. Wuss..
Why doesn’t he just pay the $6 billion he owes in back taxes.
Why doesn’t Mr. Buffett use the $5 billion he made from his insider deal with the US Treasury to buy up stock in Goldman Sachs - when he knew GS was going to be bailed out by first TARP and then QE1 and QE2 only a short time later??
When someday, if ever I get the chance to retire, I’ll never have enough time to piss on all the graves of the people I have come to hate. Buffett is on the short list. Ted Turner too.
I believe he made much of it by buying stuff dirt-cheap when the previous owner died and the heirs had to sell to pay the estate taxes.
Since Buffett likes to donate OPM, I propose a “Warren Buffett bracket”.
Warren Buffett pays 100 percent of all his income. Every year.
better yet he should fork over the $1billion in back taxes his companies have owed since 2002 and stop fighting the IRS to get out of his tax bill...
Isn’t he fighting the IRS right now in a tax dispute regarding his past taxes owed.
Here’s a deal, Warren:
You pay as much in extra taxes as you think you should be paying and I’ll do the same.
LOL Would that be before or after he pays his back taxes. Just sayin’.
