ROMNEY: 37%
PAUL: 26%
HUNTSMAN: 21%
GINGRICH: 11%
PERRY: 9%
BACHMAN: 0%
SANTORUM: 0%
I really, really want Santorum to get fourth. Newt is lucky the primary wasn’t tomorrow as people understand how anti-capitalist he is. He would be down with Perry who didn’t even participate.
“76.7%
...
Newt Gingrich 17,357 9.7%
Rick Santorum 17,279 9.6%
....”
The race for 4th place. The only race left.
That’s why they DO watch Dixille Notch. It’s an almost perfect bellweather of what the state will do, and has been for decades.
77.7% of the vote in.
Newt Gingrich 17,569 9.7%
Rick Santorum 17,474 9.6%
All up to Rockingham which is 68 percent in now.
Great link...so Levin would vote for Santorum??? Hmmm...
Why cant the other folks see it? Newts a moderate.
Because he is a great talker. That problem is that he has a foot in mouth disease which is really dangerous if he were the nomination. I think he would get pissed off about something and say something so outrageous that is would be all over. When he gets emotional, he just spouts off whatever comes to mind.
The Republican Party is dead. The sooner conservatives admit it the sooner we can get down to the business of saving the country.
Not this year.
They were infinitely wrong.
Newt is still ahead... :-(
78.7%
Mitt Romney 70,249 38.3%
Ron Paul 42,615 23.2%
Jon Huntsman 31,089 17.0%
Newt Gingrich 17,687 9.6%
Rick Santorum 17,585 9.6%
Others 2,110 1.2%
Rick Perry 1,324 0.7%
Buddy Roemer 707 0.4%
we might deserve obama but just remember...high chance of there being 2 supreme court appointments..we will not have the country we know now if he gets re-elected. Without having to worry about reelection, it will be a runaway locomotive down the track of socialism
Congrats to Paul, I’m calling Coos County for Paul.
No sweep for Romney.
No naps, it is not about the best candidate, not always.
Sometimes it is about winning with the best candidate you can support, just as FR has overwhelmingly affirmed this primary season.
What good is giving Rick 17% instead of 15% if the result is that Mitt Romney gets ALL of the delegates?
There comes a time when Conservatives have to live in the real world; and right now in the real world, Romney wins in SC and FL end the primary season.
This isn’t even about Newt or Rick, per se; it is about beating Romney. Should that not be EVERYONE’s #1 priority? Does that not sometimes require strategic voting instead of wedding oneself to a candidate?
No sweep for Romney.
Well that is good news.
Not too many posts on FR tonight for the NH primary, which is a big political event even though it nearly always leaves a sour taste in the mouth of conservatives. Without Huntsman, this would have been a huge Romney victory.
That’s right - the Supreme Court are LIFETIME appointments. People always forget that...we already see what damage the Obama administration has done to the Court. Another term would be disastrous, imho.
He’s only up by a hundred, with the only area where Newt has a substantial margin playing out.
Once Coos is done, if Santorum is close, it’s his.
Looks more and more like it’ll be mittens and Rand Paul.
Some have said they hope that Huntsman stays in for a long time. I kinda agree. He could work later in some states where Romney would win but won’t because Huntsman grabs some votes.
