With less than a month to go before President Obama is required by law to submit a budget to Congress (February 6th), Mr. Obamas decision today to make Jack Lew White House chief of staff leaves deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Heather Higginbottom to take Mr. Lews place as the director of OMB.
As The Hill newspaper reports, Ms. Higginbottom has only served one month in her present role as deputy director of OMB and is considered a controversial appointee due to her thinsome would say nonexistentbudgetary resume. Prior to becoming deputy director of OMB, Ms. Higginbottom was a deputy policy adviser to President Obama and worked on his campaign as a policy director.

This woman is a blithering idiot. She has absolutely no business being confirmed for this position. She looks like she is 5 minutes out of community college and Jeff Sessions just tears her apart. She is hot though.
I guess that is how she got as far as she has. She is nothing more than a Rat political campaign hack. She has no economic background and never had a private sector job.

Carney was tap dancing around this today. The WH does not even want to admit this airhead will be the nominee. It really doesn’t matter since Barry won’t be producing a serious budget before the election. She will just be a figurehead.

I'm sure we all realize, the Democrats have not produced a budget to vote on since they took over in 08. It was only when the repubs won back the house and threatened to shut down government that any budget work got done.
In fact, in 2009, they didn't propose or pass a budget at all. But the government didn't shut down.

Nothing matters anyway, because Hussein doesn't give a damn about the budget! His last budget proposal was voted down by the Democrat Senate.

Confirming the least intelligent people possible is the right approach for these types of positions. A devious genius is obviously a bigger problem.

As far as right wing women, I'll agree she is not up to snuff. In comparison to the average Rat broad, she is pretty good looking.

I would probably get to the month with Andrea Tantaros and leave it there, for a couple years. She is HOT!
She is the only decent Greek product other than Ouzo.

When His Excellency appears to give the state of the union, perhaps Bonehead could ask him if he is bringing his budget with him too.

While I'm inclined to agree that she's merely a sniveling political hanger-on hack (this administration is just eaten up with them, it appears), I'm willing to give her credit for trying to answer the questions posed by Jeff Sessions in a manner that didn't appear to undercut her predecessor or her boss, Barry the Boob.
The facts underscored by Sessions left her very little room to maneuver. Given the line of questioning, I think she did manage a valiant attempt at defending the Administration's position on the 10-year budget projections. Her task, as unfortunate as it was, was to justify the Administration's fiscal illiteracy, Enron-esque accounting and intergenerational public thievery, things for which there simply is no rational defense.
It's not so much that she's stupid, the complete lack of meaningful private sector experience notwithstanding. It's that she was being asked to defend that which is completely indefensible. IOW...she didn't come across as unintelligent, in my mind. She did the best she could with the extraordinarily bad hand she was dealt in the questions from Sessions, without appearing to throw her superiors under the factual bus.
None of which should be construed, of course, as an endorsement of this young lady for the OMB position. But she may be as good as Barry the Boob can (or is willing to) offer.

If you read the story from that time, the WH handlers purposefully made her tone it down and go for the “naughty librarian” look. New dress, new hair, glasses, etc. So yeah she kinda hot, but none of that overcomes the fact that has 0 experience and no background for budget mgmt. She didn’t even know the terms.
