This woman is a blithering idiot. She has absolutely no business being confirmed for this position. She looks like she is 5 minutes out of community college and Jeff Sessions just tears her apart. She is hot though.

I guess that is how she got as far as she has. She is nothing more than a Rat political campaign hack. She has no economic background and never had a private sector job.

Carney was tap dancing around this today. The WH does not even want to admit this airhead will be the nominee. It really doesn’t matter since Barry won’t be producing a serious budget before the election. She will just be a figurehead.

Nothing matters anyway, because Hussein doesn't give a damn about the budget!

His last budget proposal was voted down by the Democrat Senate.

Budget Director?

“We don’t need no stinkin’ budget director. We don’t need no stinkin’ budget!”

Confirming the least intelligent people possible is the right approach for these types of positions. A devious genius is obviously a bigger problem.

Comparing all the pictures posted thus far, I would say she is good from far, but far from good!

This woman is a blithering idiot. She has absolutely no business being confirmed for this position. She looks like she is 5 minutes out of community college and Jeff Sessions just tears her apart...I guess that is how she got as far as she has. She is nothing more than a Rat political campaign hack. She has no economic background and never had a private sector job.

While I'm inclined to agree that she's merely a sniveling political hanger-on hack (this administration is just eaten up with them, it appears), I'm willing to give her credit for trying to answer the questions posed by Jeff Sessions in a manner that didn't appear to undercut her predecessor or her boss, Barry the Boob.

The facts underscored by Sessions left her very little room to maneuver. Given the line of questioning, I think she did manage a valiant attempt at defending the Administration's position on the 10-year budget projections. Her task, as unfortunate as it was, was to justify the Administration's fiscal illiteracy, Enron-esque accounting and intergenerational public thievery, things for which there simply is no rational defense.

It's not so much that she's stupid, the complete lack of meaningful private sector experience notwithstanding. It's that she was being asked to defend that which is completely indefensible. IOW...she didn't come across as unintelligent, in my mind. She did the best she could with the extraordinarily bad hand she was dealt in the questions from Sessions, without appearing to throw her superiors under the factual bus.

None of which should be construed, of course, as an endorsement of this young lady for the OMB position. But she may be as good as Barry the Boob can (or is willing to) offer.

Apparently, she likes to bowl too. Look at that bowling bag she’s carrying.

Don’t know many chicks that bowl at lunch in DC.

Can you imagine bowling in that dress?/s

Ms. Higginbottom has only served one month in her present role as deputy director of OMB and is considered a “controversial appointee” due to her thin–some would say “nonexistent”–budgetary resume.

How is that different from Obama?
