Montana farmers have filed a class action suit against former New Jersey governor Jon Corzine, charging that the failed financial firm run by Corzine stole millions from their accounts to pay off its spiraling debts, and that Corzine's "single-minded obsession" with making MF Global a big player on Wall Street led to the firm's collapse.
MF Global's clients included 38,000 wheat farmers, cattle ranchers and others who "hedged" their crop prices by placing millions in MF Global accounts. Those accounts were supposed to be "segregated and secure," according to the federal suit, meaning MF Global could not draw on those funds.
The lawsuit, filed on behalf of all 38,000 customers, alleges that when MF Global made a series of bad investments -- notably in European debt -- it began "siphoning funds withdrawn from segregated client accounts" to cover its debts.

This makes me sick. I want criminal charges against him/them as well. The way they filed the bankruptcy, the big banks are in line first to collect, not the retail investors, who make up the majority of holders. I hope John Corzine ends up penniless and in prison. Dirty rotten pompous crooks. Spitting mad Suerae

I believe for financial crimes in Switzerland they put you in jail, actually house arrest in some hotel, and then do the investigation. Found innocent you are freed, not, you go to the big slammer.
As Paul Erdman, author, put it in one of his novels: Switzerland is where they have two capital crimes, murder and bank fraund with fraud considered the worse of the two.

Massive fraud is worse than murder, in most cases.
With murder, it’s usually the death of a few people.
With Madoff-like fraud, it’s effectively the death of masses.

According to the February issue of Vanity Fair, Corzine, who reportedly made over $16 million between 2010 and 2011, was shopping for a chateau in France with his wife two weeks before MF Global filed for bankruptcy. He was looking to get out of town for good before the dam broke...

Corzine’s wrongdoings haven’t reached the level of Martha Stewart’s yet.
If farmer’s (and others) money was sitting secured then why hasn’t the insurance fund paid out to make everyone whole after funds went missing? Hints: former CEO of Goldman Sachs, former Senator, former Governor of New Jersey, SEC stonewalling the investigation.

These complicit rats in govt should all be convicted of Treason and delt with in the proper manner, but how do you convict them when many of the courts are of the same ILK, and that includes much of the Supreme court !
