Todd Palin Endorses Newt Gingrich
ABC News ^

Sarah Palins husband is endorsing Newt Gingrich for president, Todd Palin told ABC News today.
But Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and John McCains 2008 Republican running mate, has yet to decide who is best able to go up against Barack Obama, Todd Palin said.
Palin said he has not spoken to Gingrich or anyone from the former House speakers campaign. But he said he respects Gingrich for what he went through in the 1990s and compared that scrutiny in public life to what Sarah Palin went through during her run for the vice presidency.

And you know this how?
I got a funny feeling you wouldn't say it to his face........

I really don’t know Todd Palin that well. He endorses someone because they went through public scrutiny in the 1990’s? He identifies it with his wife’s experience? Is that what he said? I must have missed a lot because I don’t think what Gingrich experienced comes close to what Sarah went through.

Thank you former First Dude of AK.

You just can't help yourself can you?
The jealousy you have for Sarah Palin is obvious in every comment you make about her.
It must be awful living with that green eyed monster gnawing at you 24/7

I read and replied to you on the other thread.
Todd is his own man, and I’m very happy he’s for Newt Gingrich!
I’ve thought all along that Sarah Palin liked Newt best, and knowing she is partial to governors, I ‘ve always thought she was hoping Perry would catch fire.
She is CLEARLY NOT for Romeny.
Sarah Palin has always been one of us.
She wants a fighter to take it to Obama and a fighter who’s withstood smears, lies and vicious attacks and knows how to fight back.
Election 2012 is no time for a compromising wussy.
Newt Gingrich has the radical solutions necessary to save and restore our Republic.
I also think Perry’s policies come close and Santorum would be all right too. He can fight.
(Rush is making the excellent, dead-bang supreme point about Romney and all the bootlickers following and endorsing him = they hated him in ‘08 for his scorched earth ads but are not endorsing him - PARTY FIRST)
STOP ROMNEY!
GO NEWT!

“Todd P is just only slightly dumber than Nancy Bimbo-osi.”
Why? Because you say so or because he praised Newt? I think you’re dumber than Nancy.

It's really important for us as conservatives to coalesce in the next two weeks behind the most conservative candidate that can win, right now I'm thinking (hoping) it's Newt.
Onyx, I think you could ping the Palin list on this thread and it would be a good thing.

"Ah, someone here who actually reads an article before commenting - kudos to you, and no sarcasm attached."
Thanks. However, as Windflier noted to me. Rush has declared it on his radio show and it's up on Drudge report as Todd endorsing Newt. As the reporter said in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance". When the legend becomes fact, print the legend. Todd is somewhat of a neophyte in dealing with the media. If an endorsement of Gringrich is not what he intended I hope he has learned a lesson. In this sound byte world, ipso facto he has endorsed Newt. As Winston Churchill whimsically noted, A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get it's pants on.

“I didn’t think he had a life beyond carrying Sarah’s purse around.”
Come on, face it, you’d carry her purse with a dress on if she asked you to.

Sarah said this:
Palin said the mainstream media would take a hands-off approach to Romney in order to bolster Romneys chances to finally face Obama.
