Local draft board where taking only men between 18 1/2 to 25 years old. Ron Paul was 27.
They also did not draft married men. And Ron Paul was married.
They also did not draft men to be officers and flight surgeons.
In fact, only about 200,000 men were drafted between 1962 to 1963.
Finally at that time, men were drafted into the Army, they were never drafted into the Air Force.
In fact even through out the Vietnam War, the Air Force never had a manpower shortage and never used the draft to fill up its ranks.
Exactly.
Wow Ron Paul never served in our armed forces, how does he get away with that lie? /s
“He’s also a liar. In 1963, when Ron Paul entered into military service, he could not have been drafted.”
EXACTLY! That is what I thought too. But, as those who have studied the candidates know, he has shown himself to be a liar before.
My dad joined the Air Force specifically so he wouldn't be drafted in the Army (he was more technical and linguistics minded vs a grunt). Funny thing is he was 'loaned' out to the Army as a radio operator so he was right along side them.
As for Ron Paul, he comes across as a witch dr. when he exhorts so nasally and waves those bony digits in the air. I can see him in a pointed black hat with flyaway grey hair flying about his shoulders.
Kucinich is another loon, as is Nader. While one can find truthes in some of all of their sayings, frankly, one wonders just where the flying saucer is parked--strictly from outer space.

The rules for doctors and dentists were not the same. My dentist was drafted into the Air Force in that era, he’s told me about it. He was stationed at Gitmo, which at that time he said was paradise. Incredible snorkling, fantastic sea food. (No Islamic terrorists.)
So, I doubt he’s lying.
