Santorum's so-called surge is all but gone. Huntsman is catching up.

Wow. Paul and Huntsman are 2nd and 3rd, sad, really sad. Someone once told me NH is a pretty conservative state, I can’t see it. In an ideal world this would be the slate on the Democrat side.
To: onyx
One week does not a nomination make! He has to win in the south to be nominated. NH was allways a problem state for our side.

South Carolina be our firewall against Romney.
My deep South state doesn’t vote until Super Tuesday!

Very true!
And then SC is suppose to be some litmus test of conservatism, the same State that gave us Lindsey Graham.
And then when SC is done, the primaries are suppose to be over.

Believe me, they have it rigged so SC falls to Romney to make any other primaries irrelevant.

“Gingrich at 12 and Huntsman at 16 ? That seems far fetched.”
No, not really. I think Huntsman IS beating Gingrich in New Hampshire now, and that other polls will probably back that up tomorrow.
What interests me is the slight panic in the Ron Paul camp.
Don’t be at all surprised if Huntsman beats him too, and finishes 2nd in New Hampshire.
Those that dislike Huntsman (which is fair enough) should want him to stay in the race. I can see him eating into Romney’s support.

Exactly. This race is far from over, despite the attempts of the lame stream media to crown Romney as the winner. Even if he walks away with NH as predicted, there are still 48 states left to vote! 2 states does NOT make a nominee.
I’m sick of the media trying to pick our candidate for us.

Even if this poll is correct, which I doubt, 35% for Romney could not be seen as a victory.
This is a guy who has been camped out & campaigning in NH for more than four years.
After this ad gets passed around Mitt will sink!
This ad is even more devastating than Swift Boat. If a conservative candidate can’t use it to take Romney out, you can bet that Obama will.
PASS THIS ON

It will be released as a film and in short segments in ads. It’s way worse than anyone ever imagined!

Why should Perry be the one to get out of the way and not Santorum and/or Gingrich? I’d much rather have a successful governor as the nonromney alternative when the primaries finally reach me than a failed senator and an ousted house speaker. I don’t care about the tyranny of the early states.

Looks like it’s a landslide:
Not-Romney 47%, Rotney 35%, undecided/loons 18%.

A newbie FReeper, and a PPP poll with innuendo of forget it, it’s Romney’s with Huntsman in a positive light for second place leads me to think we have a troll post here.
Curious.

The excitement in New Hampshire on Tuesday night will probably be the battle for second place. Excitement? New Hampshire? ROTFLMAO!!!

When the (quasi) conservative side can settle on one candidate, with the others willingly throwing their support to that candidate, thats when Romney will have a daunting challenger. Right now they are spoilers for one another. And everyone has known this for months yet it still doesn't happen. Very similar to 2008 where after it was too late, Freepers were telling us to support Romney to stop McCain. That didn't work either.

The last bastion of conservatism in the Northeast is rapidly sinking. New Hampshire, we hardly knew you. It sank into the moderate/liberal abyss long ago...it just took the rest of the country time to figure it out...
