Paul is a big talker and that’s all he is.

In the political realm he hasn’t accomplished a thing. Not one thing in a lifetime in the House of Representatives, where he has never been in any way a leader.

Don’t ask me to vote for an ineffective old gas bag even if he agrees with me 100% of the time....which he doesn’t.

Pelosi has to know that’s going to hurt him. Figure it out.

Only because of the ineptitude of a couple of terrorists

Oh, yes. And to be honest, Obama has succeeded in protecting the homeland only because of the policies Bush put into place. But that won't stop Obama from claiming all the credit.

Yeah, there is always a negative to everything but at least I won’t have to hear Bernie (or his predecessors) sit there before Congress and say he doesn’t have to show them anything. Exposure is good if one thing leads to another.

Also proves Congress has direct oversight and control of the Federal Reserve, they could make it disappear if they wanted to.

"Ron Paul will never be supported by anyone who is intelligent, honest, sane and not working for Obama."

I, myself, do not support Ron Paul. I know multiple people who are pillars of the community, who do support Paul. You are a bit overboard, in my opinion. ( I DO think Ron Paul is a nutcase.)

Yes, I read it...it was a joke, just like congressman Paul's candidacy!

Of course he’ll take all the credit. As he has tried to do with everything.
None of it means anything to anyone not in his base and they are lost causes.

However, there is that nasty “work-place violence” business at Fort Hood. And the hussein administration’s eradication of all references to radical islam. Even mittens can make hay with that nugget.

This was the great, heroic, bipartisan amendment to the Dodd/Frank disaster that we're supposed to feel good about? It did nothing. Even Paul is barely talking about the findings of his "audit" on the stump.

For good reason, I would say.

HR 1207, Paul's audit-the-Fed resolution, passed the House handily but was derailed in the Senate and replaced with language that actually gave the Fed more power -- and skirted a requirement for an independent audit.

The $16 trillion in "loans" you mention (which figure included commitments by the Fed in addition to amounts loaned to European banks) was revealed after the Bloomberg Corp. sued under FOIA and a judge issued an order for the Fed to turn over the records, somewhere in the vicinity of 15,000 printed pages. (Imagine paying the cost of copying at 25 cents/page. But Bloomberg is a billionaire so can afford it.)

Read Ron Paul's detailed narrative of how this fiasco went down and you'll understand why he doesn't go around bragging about his success with the audit bill.

Congress has just a 10% approval rating?

Well, there must be a reason.

Ron Paul is not against Israel and said he wants to have close relations with it.

WOW! who let this whack job Ron Paul in? Him and his old fashioned constitutional govt. nonsense, that was for the 17-1800’s. Dosen’t he know it’s 2012? Perpetual war for perpetual debt. Thats the way we should continue to go. Status Quo. Don’t rock the boat. I enjoy living on my knees as a serf to the Federal Reserve. Stop him from messing that up.

Someone dares step out of the group think audience of nodding heads...

Thanks for that info. Must be a reason why the Federal Reserve relented on disclosure. They could have stonewalled for years.

As you can see (members of) Congress create the problems. Might as well be call the Bank of Congress.

What if the real war was a war of misinformation?
What if we have mutliple threats from the left, Islamists, transnationalists and their useful idiots claiming to be libertarians?

What if the government constructs its own reality in order to suit its own agenda?
What if some people have seen communist films like "The Matrix" so often that they don't know what reality is anymore?
Moreover, coming from a hack who choses his guests to create a reality for his viewers, this is rich.

What if civil liberties don’t mean anything to the government?
1. When has it?
2. Rational people disagree on what are civil liberties, and pounding the table with incendiary comments changes nothing.

What if the government just chooses to allow you to exercise them freely because you don’t threaten it at the moment?
No disagreement. But that doesn't mean our government is our only threat.
