The Talk Shows
January 8th, 2012
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): 2012 GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul; Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, head of the Democratic National Committee; Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Republican presidential debate from New Hampshire.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
THIS WEEK (ABC): David Axelrod, top political adviser to President Barack Obama's re-election campaign; former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): 2012 GOP presidential candidate Jon Huntsman; House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California.
Thanks for the information. I really cannot make myself watch these shows today. FNS will be okay but ABCCBSNBC are totally worthless, IMHO.
The Left believe that Romney would be the easiest to beat and the RINO establishment think the opposite.
I hate to have to agree with the Left...
Obama did not bail out the entire auto industry; just 2 companies which should have gone through bankruptcy to clean their fiscal house and start over. This was a continued step on a bad trend started by Lee Iococca to avoid the unpleasant results of failure.
Bret Bair referring to Obama’s running against the “Do nothing Congress”
What the House Republicans should say is:
Yeah, you could call us that. But what we’ve been doing is, allowing your Socialist President and your Socialist leadership in the Senate to DO NOTHING!
But I won’t be holding my breath.
Good morning. Snugs. What’s for dinner?
Ron Paul has said, over and over, that he’s not interested in being a third party candidate. He’s simply saying ‘never say never’ but the left keeps blowing that out of context.
What we’re seeing is nothing more than wishful thinking by the media/press in hoping a third party candidate will split the Republican ticket. I cannot fathom Paul doing it but hope springs eternal for the left.
We all get old.
That can provide a prediction of what the unemployment rate will be in November 2012, before you start throwing other assumptions at it. Perhaps Obama can claim victory on the unemployment rate just because so many Americans have given up.
And then I would like to see a comparison of the number of Americans who have stopped looking for work to the number of illegal aliens on American payrolls somewhere.
Finally, how does an illegal alien "prove" they are entitled to work in this country (I-9) without committing identity theft?
Yo Morgan,
It’s a total cartoon show on pinkle-leg Matthews...all screaming liberals.
Andrea Mitchell looking positively reptilian.
(I know, nothing news here)
Repub Debate with Gregory
Asks Gingrich - Why shouldn’t Romney be the nominee?
Gingrich responds - who’s most likely able to beat obama with a billion dollar campaign?
Gingrich says he is bold Reagan conservative with an economic plan vs a timid MA moderate with a weak economic plan; iow, he would provide a MUCH clearer choice to the voters
Romney responds with a campaign speech.
Santorum - if Romney’s record was so great in MA, why didn’t he run again in MA? Why didn’t he make a stand if he wanted to fight for MA? Santorum does pretty well, IMO, drawing the distinctions between himself and Romney.
Romney responds he didn’t want a never-ending political career, so he left. ( uh-uh) Santorum calls him out on that one. lol, Romney tries to sound so above the fray....believes in term limits...
Gingrich - smackdown to Romney- I realize the red light doesn’t mean anything to you since you are the front runner. ROmney says you have been running for something since the 1990’s....just level with the American people,
Nice tag team against ROmney between Santorum and Gingrich. Santorum/Gingrich +1, ROmney 0.
Break - Breakfast time.....BRBAB
Lamb shank, roast potatoes and parsnip and brussel sprouts will post photo later if I get opportunity
I like Santorum and Perry for that matter. For me however they are not in the same league as Newt.
Always great to have you here Son.
Do you think that Newt’s age might go against him though with younger voters?
Gotcha good move.
Yep, the the cartoon is just beginning. It’s going to get worse as the year progresses.
“I thought Elvis was dead?”
No, just gone home. (Per Men in Black movie. :-))
From a spectators standpoint, none of the candidates would provide as much entertainment leading up to the election as Newt would provide.
