I hope that some of you have found that Rick Santorum, is a very nice looking young man but he is not in the same league as Newt. Rick Perry is no doubt a great guy and I can support him.
I wish each of you could see what is going on in South Texas. (Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Oil, and more Oil) If you need a job, one that pays very well please look on the Internet and I am sure you will find one that will help you get back to work. Most of the major oil companies are all involved. There are some bright spots in several states and it's called oil.

“Im surprised at those who find Santorum boring. I think hes doing great tonight. Deep thinker and sincere.”
Because he comes off like a sanctamonious, humorless policy wonk.

Wonder if the love letters he sent (as Ambassador to China) to Bammy were in Mandarin?

Diane Sawyer might be good in the sack from her looks, but she is by far the stupidest idiot I have seen questioning in a debate.

Willing to bet Mittens and Paul got 75% at least. I just blasted through my tivo of it, and it looks like Mitt got the most minutes, followed by Paul, Santorum, Huntsman/Newt almost equally, then Perry.

I agree on Rick, his SC mission and his right to his own money. I’m just sayin’ that tonight is a turning point going into South Carolina. Or it could be a turning point if one candidate will knock it out of the park and shake up the polls for Romney and Santorum.
You have to think there is a mystery out there about a couple of things on Rick Perry. Why he zigged out and zagged back in is just unusual without an explanation of any solid grounds. I hate it, but since the clock is running it is inevitable that decisions are being made, even before South Carolina.

Agree. I am wanting to hear the Newt response. A lot of these people need to drop out.

He starts talking too fast .... like a salesman who is trying to get his pitch in before you walk away. It is annoying and off-putting, part of his not-likeable problem.

Mitt got Huntsman to start speaking Chinese!
*******************************************
LOL, What an idiot! Does he really think that people want to hear a US president candidate start speaking a foreign language in a debate. He just lost .5 of his 1%.

Santorum is smart, probably smarter than Gingrich, but not as bombastic. And he doesn’t spend nearly as much time telling you how much smarter he is than you.
Unlike Gingrich. Who only stops telling you how smart he is when he instead tries to pretend he’s personally responsible for anything he had any involvement in whatsoever.

I have to give the devil his due - Romney scored a good one on China. Took a page from Trump’s playbook.

“If he had done as well in his first 3 debates as he has in all the following debates, he might still be the frontrunner.”
I’m not sure on that. Perry was just starting to get the real vetting...and it was looking pretty rough (as we here in Texas know it would be). The early debates did end it for him, but he was about to have a LOT MORE to deal with right after that.

In no way will any candidate on that stage agree to be VP for any other.
