It appears that the couple were shot from outside their red Subaru, at a scenic pull-off.

I passed that area about an hour before the incident this morning. When I was returning to Sedona, there were at least 25 men, ambulances, fire truck, police cars and a hovering helicopter.

Not an area I would expect such violence. I love taking the family to Sedona. Such a shame. Prayers for the families.

How horrible! Sedona is our playground! We love going there - I can’t imagine something this horrible happening randomly. I hope they catch the suspect soon.

Is that the overlook where the sun seems to set in a volcano crater? Some south of Flagstaff as I recall.

Sounds like the start of a new J.A. Jance novel in her series that is based in Sedona.

I enjoy going to Sedona and really enjoyed my golf game at Oak Creek Country Club the last time I stayed there. I passed thru there last week en route to Phoenix to watch my Oklahoma State Cowboys beat the Stanford Cardinal in the Fiesta Bowl.

-——the couple——

Were the genders of the couple given?

One wonders what the tailgate stickers espoused as well
