Double homicide near Sedona

Two people were found dead in a vehicle at an overlook point south of Sedona this morning.
According to information from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, the two appear to be the victims of homicide. The bodies, discovered at about 11:30 a.m., were inside a red Subaru sedan parked at the scenic overlook on Highway 89A about 10 miles south of Sedona.

It appears that the couple were shot from outside their red Subaru, at a scenic pull-off.
I passed that area about an hour before the incident this morning. When I was returning to Sedona, there were at least 25 men, ambulances, fire truck, police cars and a hovering helicopter.

Not an area I would expect such violence. I love taking the family to Sedona. Such a shame. Prayers for the families.

How horrible! Sedona is our playground! We love going there - I can’t imagine something this horrible happening randomly. I hope they catch the suspect soon.
