>> 30,007 to 30,015

In reality, that could be as few as 4 votes.

NEWTORUM!!

Willard won't know what hit him by the end of this month --- the Massachusetts liberal is simply not viable if he loses SC & FL. You just don't ever win the nom if you lose those two states.

“Ron Paul said that he was not disappointed with the outcome, pointing out his popularity with both young and independent voters.”

Pamela Geller had last night, at her site Atlas Shrugged, very interesting numbers concerning Democrats who voted for Ron Paul in Iowa. Somewhere in the 30% of his final votes were from acknowledged Democrats.

I doubt Newt Gringrich would have done so badly if the Democrats had stayed home.

A sizable portion of that $22K went towards gasoline for the minivan he uses to travel from county to county. He probably even sleeps in the thing and takes showers at truck stops. This is the guy I want running our own federal budget. Think of how much money will be left over at the end of each fiscal year.

And Romney also got 6 fewer votes than he did in 2008.

Let’s recall too that Santorum basically did nothing but campaign in Iowa, while Romney’s team spread nationwide. Unfortunately, I don’t think Santorum will have quite such a strong showing in any of the upcoming primaries.

I like what Rush pointed out today: In a state with an open primary, where the rats and independents could easily flock in droves, the best Ron Paul could garner was 21.5%.

Epic fail!

It is a little understood fact that money in politics only gets you the center of the stage. That can and sometimes does mean a win BUT only if you can sing. If your message is garbage it does you no good just as former presidents Forbes and Pirot about that.

In the end it is STILL the message. This is why Obama can campaign with TEN BILLION DOLLARS and he will still lose.

Santorum was just the last man standing. They notion of him running around county to county is not going to translate nationally.

Santorum is still behind kookpaul in NH and we still have open primaries to fight.
