A shooting in Coronado, Calif., that left four people dead, including two Navy pilots and one of their sisters, is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide.
The New Year's Day shooting in a condo there claimed the lives of siblings David and Karen Reis, 25 and 24, respectively, as well as David's roommate, John Reeves, 25, and a fourth unknown man.
David Reis and Reeves were both pilots in the Navy, and shared the condo home in Coronado, sources told ABC affiliate KGTV. The other dead man is a 31-year-old civilian who lives in Chula Vista, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office.
The siblings and Reeves went out together in downtown San Diego to celebrate New Year's Eve Saturday night, and returned to the condo with the fourth man, whose identity has not been released, the sources said.
A retired Navy pilot who lives next door to the condo told KGTV that he heard seven shots early Sunday morning. "There were two shots, about a five-second pause, and then five more," Don Hubbard said.
Hubbard said he spoke with police after the shooting, who said they believed the crime was a murder-suicide and that they had found the murder weapon.

Apparently you and I are the only ones who will admit reality.
Training squadron?
Agreed.
I should have said a leaking, oozing, fetid a$$hole. I'll try to do better next time.
It sounds more like you're tastelessly pushing an agenda before the blood has even dried.
I have no agenda. What happened there was a tragedy.
Yes, it was. But you seem to be hoping there's some gayness involved, aren't you? It was the first "conclusion" you came to.
So, we are left with two possibilities; one of the men was dating the sister and then killed everyone or one of the men was dating one of the other men and then killed everyone.
Am I so for off base in the realm of possibilities?
<><><><><
I will say yes. You are off base, not for speculating as to the reasons, but being so binary in your thinking that you believe there were only 2 possibilities.
Am I not allowed to speculate?
I really don’t care. You seem awfully quick to try to deny homosexuality was involved.
Am I not allowed to speculate?

You should re-read the post to which you replied. I answered that question. In the affirmative.
I'm sure the investigators already know exactly what occurred and why, but are just not saying at this point, for whatever reasons. It seems obvious, based on this report, one of the 4 inside the condo was the shooter. Possibly more than one shooter, but I'd bet that's unlikely.
Debt, money, girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife love triangle jealousy thing?
Which one was the shooter, and what was the motive?
Would they pickup a complete stranger in a Chula Vista bar and take him home? Possible, but I doubt it.
As that would beg the question, why would a complete stranger kill them all, and then himself? Again, not likely.
My hunch is they or at 1 one of the 3 knew exactly who the unnamed stranger was.
Maybe details will come out in a few days. But if there is a homosexual aspect, you will have to dig deep to find the truth.
Yep.
My bet is they already know the motive, but are clearly holding back at this point.
This doesn’t say anything close to conclusive, but it is interesting and thought provoking.

“It was no surprise they rung in the New Year together. 10News learned they went out downtown with David’s roommate — friend and fellow Navy pilot Bob Reeves, who was 25 years old. The three met a Chula Vista man, who has yet to be identified, and brought him back to the condo.”
That doesn’t sound too good.
So much for psych evals.
