Come on folks, who else can beat Obama, if not Romney? I am not saying I like Romney, or he will beat Obama. But none of the other republicans can beat Obama.

The general election will be about the economy and who is most competent to fix it. It is a referendum on Obama. Mitt will be perceived by the public as competent, and there have a great chance to beat Obama. Mitt has a good organization. And as we saw in 2008, a great organization like Obama had is what it takes.

Romney will win the republican nomination. And he has a very good chance of beating Obama. So if you don’t like Romney, fine. But don’t support him, and take 4 more years of Obama. It’s not who we want. It’s only who we can choose from.

Romney will not beat Obama. Romney will savagely go after any conservative that is in his way but will be all nicey nicey with Obama, just like McCain. And the democrats will be their usual viscious selves.

Ford, Bush Sr., Dole, McCain, Romney. Wake up. These types never go after democrats, only conservatives so the gravy train keeps flowing.

Keep saying it ...over and over. Until you begin to believe it.

Oh, seems you’ve already done that.

I've heard that from many libs and elites, but I've heard no evidence to support it.

I believe that obama-supporters are pushing romney in order to suppress the evangelical and conservative vote in the general election.

Newt will beat obama, Romney probably won’t. Newt has the best plan of all the candidates for economic recovery, Romney’s plan is very weak, it very similar to obamas.

...Come on folks, who else can beat Obama, if not Romney? I am not saying I like Romney...

Your comment, not the only one by any means, reminds me of McCaca on the last election, and you know what I argument was? "Winning" is not always winning!... If Romney wins, conservatives and ESPECIALLY Social-conservatives would LOSE.

And you are wrong in thinking that it's all about the mighty buck... I am not denying that, is IMPORTANT but so, it is the Culture.. our values... and some one has to fight for them.

Romney is the PRO-HOMO CANDIDATE just like our current OHOMO.

I want better, not same garbage

Newt, for one. In fact, Romney doesn't stand a chance of beating Obama, because he doesn't engender enthusiastic support among center-right voters. Remember that he LOST the last primary to one of the weakest candidates the Republicans have fielded in a decade or more?

If you'd had your radar tuned in properly over the last six months, you would have noticed that Mitt hasn't endured any sort of attacks or anal exams from the leftstream press. That alone, ought to inform you that he's Obama's hand picked opponent. The left knows that he'll be rightfully viewed as not all that different from Obama, and therefore, no kind of alternative at all.

Mitt will be perceived by the public as competent, and there have a great chance to beat Obama.

By who? 20% of Republican voters? Certainly not by the majority - especially after the news media gets through turning him inside out, and exposing his rotten liberal record.

By the way, your post comes awfully close to shilling for Mitt, which is verboten on FR.

I won’t vote for Romney even if he picks Sarah for VP. Period.
