Another audience member questioned the candidate about Santorum awarding former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky with the Angels in Adoption Award. Santorum explained that he lacked knowledge of the situation at the time and noted that the award has since been withdrawn.
In response to his explanation, the audience member asked, "So we shouldn't trust Obama with our kids, but we can trust you?"

So I guess if you have a sex offender who is your grandmother’s uncle daughter’s sixth cousin twice removed on your wife’s side, and you are a Republican running for office, you would be accused of promoting sex with children.
I'd vote for neither Perry or Santorum over any of the 2 I've supported to date.
I COULD vote for Perry in the General, but not Santorum.

So, the Romney people believe that they must appeal to the stupid to win. I too am from Pa, and I wonder why Mr. Sullivan is selectively outraged about the exploits of a fudge packer. Such an atrocity is more likely to excite than incite Mr. Sullivan. Bob
Pinging the bad makes sense, but pinging the absurd? This is the flakiest question I have heard asked of Santorum. He was supposed to know that Sandusky was a pedophile 10 years ago? No one but the PSU Football program knew about it till recently...and coming from Andrew Sullivan of all places. Geez.
Sullivan makes Paul Lynde look straight.
